I totally agree that candy is not cool but other things for the classroom tissues, cleaning supplies are totally exceptable.Teachers are forced to pick up too much slack and parents have the responsibility to help out.

I'm a graduate and now working on a 10K program. I hate running on the treadmill so the cold weather has derailed my progress a little but as soon as it gets back into the high 30's I will be right back out there. Until then I do my best to keep up with intervals on the treadmill, swimming, and just added spinning as well.…

Doing pretty good! just sarted a spin class today and that was awesome! I'm going to do it at least 2x week and I've lost 6 pounds this month can't complain about that!! 3 more pounds and I will be the lightest I've been in 6 years:) Thanks for all the encouragement!

Everyone's body is different as long as your 3 meals keeps you from feeling hungry througout the day then there is no problem. I do 3 smaller meals and 2 snacks otherwise I am reaching for the candy bowl at work by 10a and 3p!

LOVE IT!!! I'm doing week 6 day 3 today!! I use the IPhone app C25K and its free:)The same company has a 10K app that's free as well so that will be my next step! I'm not fast but I'm enjoying how it makes me feel! My 5K is this Thanksgiving.

Way to go on your "water weight loss!" I can only hope that in nearly 6 mo I can lose that much "water"!!!

As long as you don't lose 14 pounds every week that should be ok. When you first start a diet and exercise program you lose a lot of water weight and then the next week things taper off to average 1-2 or 3 pounds a week. If you continue the 14 pounds for the next week try to increase your calories by 100-200.
