Binged this morning. Sigh. Made it 9 days without a binge. I hate the disappointed feeling
-
@daniellethesheep You made it almost a week without bingeing, that's great! I think you should be proud of that. Nothing you can do about last night now, it's in the past. Try to just move on with today and focus only on today. Right now that's what I have to do, I can't worry about what happened yesterday or the bad days…

New reason not to binge: just bought a dress in my current size that I need to fit in for a wedding in six weeks.
-
I also just searched for binge eating. I rarely go on the main forum boards.

I eat lower carb, not quite keto, I try to stay under 100gms. I have some hormonal issues and i definitely feel the difference if I stick to it. Don't be afraid of fat. We all need fat in our diet, especially women. I think we all got scared into eating low fat because of high cholesterol but that's been proven untrue. If…

Normally I start out the day with 3-4 scrambled eggs, which always keeps me full until lunchtime. But today I'm having a bowl of plain Greek yogurt with some berries and walnuts mixed in. Sugar is always a binge starter for me so I'm trying to avoid it completely at the moment. Hope you have a great day!

Not sure what is different, to be honest. The urge is definately still there and I've had a few days this week where I almost lost control but I found different ways to distract myself. I haven't allowed myself any sweet treats, once I start with the sugar it seems to set me off. Just trying to take it one day at a time. I…

8 days binge free here. I think this is the longest I've gone since mid January.

I just realized I never properly introduced myself or told my story... I'm Maureen and I just turned 32. Currently a stay at home mom with my 2 year old daughter, previously I worked as a medical assistant. I have had weight, self esteem and food issues since grade school. Reached my highest weight in my late 20's after I…

@betrue95 and @gbread2u0169 Welcome!!

My first appointment at the binge eating clinic is on Monday. STarting to get really anxious about it. I've never been in any kind of conselling before so I have all these fears about talking about my problems with a stranger.

New one is being delivered this afternoon. We have a freezer in the basement so anything that could be frozen I threw in there. Teething monster is napping thanks to some Motrin and a Popsicle. I just need to relax and not turn to food for comfort.

Motor is blown on the fridge

I fell asleep pretty much immediately after I posted that. Super stressful morning so far, refrigerator stopped working sometime during the night, the dog threw up all over the carpet, and my daughter appears to being cutting a molar so she's in a beastly mood. Going to be nice out today so hopefully the fresh air will…

Going on 6 days without a binge, the urge is definitely there though. One day at a time...

@RespectTheKitty Awesome victory over the cookies!!!

What an incredible story Laura. You are an inspiration! So many road blocks in your life and so many reasons to throw in the towel and give up, but here you are with a great attitude and taking care of yourself. You are very right about mental illness, no one chooses to have it but we do choose how we deal with it.
-
I agree with @RespectTheKitty, Cadbury cream eggs have never appealed to me. The caramel filled ones on the other hand.. Yum! It is another stressful Monday for me. Definitely fighting to urge to binge today.

I had a decent day. Got a really long walk in since it was beautiful outside. Went over on calories but didn't binge. I still feel good about the day, actually took time to enjoy the food and the company. The pie was actually all eaten at dinner because we had some extra guests, so no leftovers!

AWESOME!!!

Easter check in #1. Morning is going well, haven't touched the massive amount of candy my daughter got at the egg hunt. Also didn't touch the peanut butter pie yet. Going to my parents for Easter dinner in a bit. Planning to leaving any remaining pie at their house!
-
I made a peanut butter pie to take to my parents house. Hopefully it makes it there...
-
How is everyone doing? I'm finally feeling somewhat better from this nasty bug. Just hoping the rest of the house stays healthy.
-
Side note: I won't be weighing in for awhile. My husband hid the scale from me. He said "Everytime you step on that thing, regardless of a gain or loss, you come away with a negative attitude. You are beautiful and perfect to me. My option is more important than what that scale says." It's driving me crazy but he is right.
-
You lost almost a pound! I for one, am very proud of you. You had a good week, please don't be disappointed in yourself or discouraged. Remember that this is not just about a number on a scale, it's also about self acceptance, self love, a healthy mind, and building a better relationship with food.

New here and we have been trying to conceive for almost a year now. I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2011 (but I think I have had it since puberty), at the time I was classified as obese and very unhealthy. The doctor put me on metformin and laid out a diet and exercise plan that I was to follow strictly for 6 months and…

Great accomplishment!! I've been barely able to eat the past 2 days. This flu bug has knocked me down. I slept 12 hours last night. Could easily sleep another 12 right now.
-
@RespectTheKitty you need a portable pushing bag to carry with you
-
I feel you @irishjeepgirl1969. Anxiety attacks are so scary. The flu bug going around has found its way to me. Woke up with high fever, sore throat and body aches.

Bad day for me. Really stressed out. This afternoon I consumed a milkshake, 2 Reese cups, 2 butterfingers, a cliff bar, a PB&J sandwich, 4 squares of dark chocolate topped with PB, a bowl of cereal, and 2 string cheese. Afternoon is the worst part of the day for me. Thinking of just locks big myself is the bedroom while my…
