Who wants to be skinny anyway? Toned is the way to go! You can be slim and toned, but without food, you'll just be fat-skinny.

Like everyone said, you can eat bread! If you want less calories you could do a wheat tortilla instead, or corn for even less.

You don't need to cut out carbs, I sure don't! Just eat less of them. A serving of noodles is...freaking tiny. Try to load up a bowl with veggies and add some noodles. I always eat the veggies first to get them out of the way hahaha. Also...

The Aldi's here have all raised their prices a TON over the last two years. You could buy lots of stuff for $20 back then, now just buying the basics runs you $50 per person...

Definitely agree with everything said here. I think you got all the answers you need! But gotta say about that CSA...good luck. We did that one summer and our "varied" boxes were always full of eggplant and fruit flies.

I cook most things in the oven (usually toaster oven since it heats up faster!!) and just reheat them in the microwave. If people are at least 50 and been using their microwave since birth I think I'll be okay. Seriously.

I'm actually buying some for the first time this week. I've only ever had it in granola mixes and such, never cooked. We shall see! I hope I like it, it has a lot of protein for a grain.

Well the one at the gym goes up to 20, I switch between level 7 and 10. 7 is kinda my rest zone. But the incline makes a huge difference.

You should probably start doing squats/lunges etc I do the elliptical on super high incline and at a high resistance, like going on a hike, so I've lost a lot of fat there and my legs are way stronger.
