Steady state cardio alone will make you skinny fat. HIIT and Weight training burns calories 24 hours a day and will change your body. Just depends on what you are willing to live with.

You take your life in your own hands when you hike alone. Animals, injuries, rapists......unless it was a very populated trail, I would not hike alone. Remember that guy that hiked alone and a rock fell on him and he had to cut off his arm to free himself. Nuff said.

You should be concentrating on your carb numbers and not just your sugars. If I were you, I would be eating protein and vegetables, low fat dairy, nuts and eggs. Carbs are your enemy if you are a diabetic. Lots of low carb groups on Face Book with great recipes.

Smaller fish have less mercury. Salmon is a better choice.

There are better sources of protein besides tuna. I hate tuna and its full of mercury.
