So how did you loose the body fat ladies? I index stand that lifting works but you then have to eat more too to build muscle..

Thanks all, of course after posting this now it will hit me like a ton of bricks tomorrow morning! Interesting that people have such different experiences..and that DOMS are not indicative of how hard you have worked..you live and learn :)

I'm screwed too. 9+ years of child related interrupted sleep and still some to go. i do however go to bed early to maximise my chances of a few solid hours.

looking at your profile you also have PCOS and thats probably more a factor than motherhood. I have gone into each pregnancy a healthy weight and lot the weight quite quickly but my skin tone isn't what it used to be! Give it time, eat lots of nutrient dense food, do cardio and strength training and it will happen.

Ah yes thank you, I love water exercises ! will google the goblet squat.. I guess lots of people will have problems with the prone jacknife as it needs the stability that its trying to dvelop, its a complex move..and as I say no ball at my gym.. Thanks for the suggestions

Wrong, MFP calculates in a deficit, your exercise calories are more deficit and you need them. Lots of people eat back their exercise calories or at least most of them and loose weight, me included ;) It is a different system to WW and others.

i would eat something like a tablespoon of peanut or other nut butter, drink some full fat milk..nothing thats going to sit on your stomach but waking up in the night hungry is not fun!

I posted the exactly same thing a bit ago - 6 cm loss from waist, nothing from hips..which means I am stuck in trousers cosy on the hips and baggy at the waist. On the plus size my bum is definately changing shape so they look better! I guess some of us have hips that stick around..wish I could move the fat up to my boobs..

The idea is you do about 10 days at each level. I think you move on after 10 days (have at least one rest day, you knees will thank you!) when it suits you to or when you are very bored with JM and then you can switch it about.
