Welcome :) how active are you? Do you want home workouts? Or can you go to classes or the gym? And how's your diet? It took me a long time to prioritise me after each of my children, it's a mental state as we'll as a physical one.

The question remains however, if you are using MFP as intended and eating back exercise calories how many do you eat back after a lifting session? I go with the MFP guesstimate which is far lower than my HRM. Once I hit my goal weight and am fit enough to be training regularly I am going to go with the calorie guidelines…

Alcohol, even 1/2 a glass of wine has always made me feel really ill, so am totally teetotal and have always been, At uni I was always the one who made sure that they got everyone else home

That's so exactly it isn't it..so important to find out what and why something is wrong and how to fix it..and sadly not all Drs and Physios are as good as they should be.. I have a ton of energy..might have to do a fast 20 mins on the treadmill tonight :( dull dull dull

According to a friend of mine..it's not what you eat between Christmas and new year that counts but what you eat between New Year and Christmas.. For me I am not in control of what I eat when I am away from home, but I am in control of how much of it I eat and whether I can fit in some exercise too..

Thank you, thats ythe thing barbells are part of the vast majority of full body workouts..Am thinking I am going to have to develop some fusion of dumbbells and bodyweight but I don't really have the knowledge to do it

I have endo too and for me the biggest factor is wheat the secondary is sugar. I would not be changing the diet of your daughter pre puberty. Yeah I kow HRM are not great for calorie counting when doing weights..but I need a ballpark figure as I know I ned to eat more on lifting days..

I did a strength training session this morning, with about 5 mins cardio either end for warm up cool down...342 calories according to my HRM :) I find HIIT very hard can do such short periods..30 secs or so..

No, any day you don't lift you eat the lower, 1850 amount.

I was an A cup until 3 babies and BF, now with weight loss we are heading back that way :( got to look out the padding for my Christmas party dress..however at least they don't cause me problems when working out. Interestingly my Mum was very flat until she hit the menopause and now..big boobies..without massive weight…
