Have you tried using weightlifting gloves? I find they helped with grip when I first started (I have sweaty hands) and helped build up strength so I don't need them anymore. Just a suggestion. :)

I wear a HRM for this class and burn about 400 calories in an hour. The bigger you are, the more you'll burn, generally. I am 5'9" and 195 lbs.

My friend recently said I would look too skinny at my goal when I said I wanted to be a size 8. Like wtf... ??? I started at 16 and am currently a 12. (she's a size 6 but about 5 inches shorter).

Like you, I am 195 lbs and a size 12. The dress in my photo is actually a size 8 (it is very tight right now and my target outfit).. I don't think I'll ever get much below 170 in a healthy manner.

I eat 1800 calories a day, work out 5 days a week and have lost 23 lbs since September. I have yet to experience the need to gnaw off my own arm and am happy and nice. Edit to say: I am 5'9" and started at 218 lbs.
