I love my coffee black but on cold winter nights when everyone else is having hot chocolate I use Coffee Mate Sweet Italian Creamer Zero Sugar added (I wouldn’t call it healthy, but it’s very sweet and they also make different flavors) add whipped topping (they make a keto but the regular doesn’t have a lot of carbs and is…

I would love to have this recipe too! I love mixing the sugar free pudding mix with Dannon whole milk yogurt (low in carbs), then adding Sola Granola on top (also low carb) and of course a little squirt of whipped topping (can use the low carb one, but the regular one doesn’t have that many carbs and is cheaper). The…

This is the sauce I use for above, it wouldn’t let me add.

Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, quick and easy stir fry. The riced Cauliflower and Chicken I got from Costco, the sauce from Walmart. You can use any chicken, any sauce or even soy sauce. This dish is spicy, low calorie, and low carb.

Looks delicious! 😋 For your cheese toast, is that reddish color just the toasted cheese? At first when I saw it, it looked like salsa or tomato sauce or some kind of jam or jelly 😀

In above post, the sentence that I wrote about the pizza crust: will differently try, I meant “definitely” make again (thanks spell check). And thank you so much for the recipe Poohbah1972

I made the pizza again. Did not let it rise, rolled directly on the pan because I rolled it so thin I never would have gotten it off the counter. Kept rolling and cutting the edges off, will use that later! Rolled so thin I got holes in it. It was the best tasting low carb crust I’ve ever had! A little more soggy than to…

Thank you poobah1972 😀👍

IMG_1131.jpg Ok, has anyone tried to make this as pizza crust? I followed the directions and it came out very puffy and hard to roll out, because it wanted to stretch back to it’s small shape. After making it, it taste too much like bread, not pizza crust. Any pointers? Tasting it, and by its texture, I can tell the bread…

Thank you, Poobah1972 ! I appreciate your recipe and all your help! Will definitely let you know! 😀

Thank you very much, Poobah1972 ! Do you use a mixer (Kitchen Aid with the hook/paddle) to kneed the bread? I read if you do use it, to kneed the bread half the time as opposed to doing it by hand. What do you think? I made a keto bread one time and it came out so dense and mealy so I gave up! Your bread looks so good!

IMG_0999.PNG IMG_1003.PNG I found these on Amazon. Are they the correct ones to use? (The ones that say meal) I can’t wait to try the bread! 😀

You also have THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EYES!

Thank you, Angela937 ! Why does everyone have to disagree? For those of us doing low carb, this is a great tip and I’m very glad that she shared. If you are doing low carb they are worth a try. I always look on here for new low carb products that I don’t know about, and If we all discourage people, then no one is going to…

Yes, path7975 please post the marinara sauce recipe! Some of the no sugar added Jar sauces are quite pricy in my opinion! Thank you 😊

There are a lot of good recipes and success stories in the Woman’s World Magazine. I put the ingredients in MFP and this came out to 3.4g carb per serving! It is very good 💜

If a Type 1 diabetic loses any amount of weight, they will still and always remain a Type 1 diabetic. The key to good glucose control for a Type 1 is knowing how much insulin you need to cover the amount of carbs you are eating and how much insulin you need to maintain a steady level 24/7. Your doctor should send you to an…

TYPE 2 is hereditary, TYPE 1 is when your own immune system destroys your Pancreas for some unknown reason and stops making insulin altogether. Yes, I am a Type 1 Diabetic and I have Hypothyroidism (Hachimoto's - also autoimmune) and yes, having one makes it hard to lose, having both is super hard. My dr checks my Tyroid…

I have been counting the food in my food logs that I HAVE TO EAT for my lows. (New to MFP since Saturday-Type 1,on a Minimed Pump & Dexcom CGM). It stinks having to count the food for lows because: 1.) not the food/carb I would have chosen (juice or peanut butter crackers) 2.) not enjoying the food because I am just…

I totally agree with Onaughmae. I felt the same way about not wanting anything "attached" to me. Just think about it like your clothes or shoes. You will feel so much better. If you have a CGM it is a pain in the butt, but so worth it. Ask your endocrinologist what pump/CGM is covered under your insurance plan (there are…

I am also a Type 1. Just started this site on Saturday. That has been a big complaint of mine for years: Having to eat sugary carbs to bring up my bgl, and making me feel like I blew my diet for the day, or night after I worked so hard. I am also on a pump and a CGM. I find the CGM helps out a great deal. Even though I…
