I found a low carb truffle recipe online that included dark baking chocolate, truvia and heavy whipping cream. If you like dark chocolate, they are very tasty.

I make low carb egg muffins by browing a pound of sausage, spoon into 12 spots on a muffin pan, whisk 8 eggs and pour into each cup. Bake 20 mins on 350. Half way through you can sprinkle some shredded cheese if you like. We freeze them & then reheat for 1 minute in the microwave.

If sugar is a trigger food for you, you may want to cut it out. When you get hungry drink a protien shake with less than 5 grams of carbs.

I'm no expert, but it would help to have a little snack first (protien bar?) so you don't go hungry and drink a lot of water too. When you are at the event already have limits set in your mind (like you'll only eat one plate). Be mindful of what you are drinking at the event as well becuase those calories can add up fast.…
