There is a difference between harsh and cruel. I'm so sorry that you were hurt, but you are taking that negativity and using it as motivation. That's exactly how you're going to get through this and become a healthier version of you! You can add me if you want. Good luck!!

The first one was at around 250 lbs. The second one was at about 215 lbs. I'm at 207 today.

I'm 5'2", and I'm not anywhere near done losing weight. I don't have many before pics, but I found one. It was taken after I'd already lost some weight. I think it was at about 240 lbs. The other one was taken in June at 207 lbs. I bounced back up to 224, but as of today...I'm back at 207. Hopefully, I will never see that…

As a personal choice to cut calories, I switched to Blue Diamond almond milk. I was shocked to like it. I prefer the vanilla. I think it has 60 calories a serving. My kids like the chocolate version. It's 120 calories, and it tastes like Yoo-hoo. If you like regular milk, and the calories fit your numbers, then go ahead.…

That is incredible!! You look amazing!

One of my best friends has lost approx. 80 lbs since February. She's been obnoxious about it. It's all she talks about, and I would be excited for her if she was living a healthy lifestyle, but she's done it by living off of prescribed diet pills, cigarettes, and Monster Java. She gets light-headed, and her personality has…

Exactly! When I got my head back in the game, I started cutting out the things and people who were helping me make a mess out of my life. I've found that people are quick to have an opinion because they need the light to shine on someone else while their flaws hide in the shadows. I'm a live-out-loud type of girl, so here…

I'm a central FL girl, so The Mouse is everywhere. I guess I don't see the big deal. Lucas was never going to make 7-9. He was ticked by the crap he took when he made the last three. Disney has the power (and now, The Force...lol) to do this better than anyone. With the technology they just bought, it will be even more…

Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing. Stories like these help so much!

I've seen it a cajillion times but never in a theater of any kind. I used to beg my ex to go to the live shows, but he never would. I work quotes into everyday conversation more than I probably should...lol.

Oops...I see Challenges, too. You're right!

I never had any knee issues until a few weeks ago when I got serious about exercise. I warm up before exercise, and I usually elliptical everyday and walk in the evenings. I have mixed in Pilates a few times a week, too. Nothing should be high-impact, but my left knee started hurting first. Two days ago, my right started.…

I went through this when I gained some of the weight back that I'd lost. I would stare at my closet with tears in my eyes because I knew there were literally five things that fit. I got my head back into the game. I signed in here, and I made friends with my elliptical. Believe it or not, those things are not just clothing…

Ireland will be fantastic! It's on my short list, too....

Then you must live right by me! Honey, don't worry. This time next year, we will be FABULOUS! Take the way you felt and turn it into motivation for those moments when you feel weak. Feel free to message me any time.. We CAN do this!!

Beautiful...in every way! So, are you going to take another trip? I think you deserve a do-over. Your story is resonates with me. I started as a size 22. At the moment, I'm in a size 14. I was flirting with a 10/12 in February, but I lost my way for a little while. Now, my head is completely back in the game, and I intend…

Epic weight loss! To say, "Great work!", is the understatement of the century...

Great job!

Way to take life and kick it in the *kitten*! You look amazing!

Tell him that you are are changing your goals on MFP because you have realized that you actually need to lose an additional *insert his weight here*. See if he gets it.

I was 262 lbs when I started, two years ago. I lost down to 192 lbs just by the exercise at my former job. I used to work for USPS as a clerk, and dispatching mail was quite a workout. I quit there to move to Vegas and took an office job. Things didn't work out, and I came home to Florida, heartbroken and without a job for…

Great work!

Your nerdism is as awesome as mine....lol. Look great, you do...

I came to MFP to get back on track. I had spent much of the last two years losing weight the wrong way. Then I quit my super active job. Going to school full-time is a great workout for my melon, but it sucks for the rest of me. I didn't even remember joining when I did. Last week, I went to try on pants and was horrified…

I gave them up completely two years ago this month. You'd be amazed at how they bloat you. Besides, it they clean corrosion off of a battery terminal, what do you think they do to your insides? I just imagined that and never wanted another. Good luck, hon...

I'm in, too... Got back in the game last week at 218lbs which is down 44 lbs from the highest of 262 in Oct 2010. I've lost 4 lbs this week, and I would like to be 194 by Christmas. Feel free to add me...

You look amazing, but I bet it's nothing compared to how you feel! Great work!

There was no "OMG" moment when this journey first began in Oct. 2010. I left my ex-husband, and when I went to try on pants a few weeks later, the chick in Torrid was looking at me like I was crazy for pulling 20 when I was in a 16. I got down to a 10/12 and maintained that for almost a year before life slapped me. In May,…

I'm good for a cheer session...you can add me, too.
