In the New England area - I'm from Texas and this was the first time I'd ever seen them here. I cooked them (you don't want to eat them raw) in salted boiling water for about 4 minutes before draining and shocking them in some ice water. Then I heated a little vegetable oil in a skillet with a slivered garlic clove and…

acg - you make food that i would enjoy photographing this was my first time eating these today. they'd been on my list for a while but they are seasonable and mostly found up north. when i saw them at the grocery store i had to snatch them up and try them. sauteed fiddlehead ferns with chopped pecans and fresh thyme. i…

Thank, everyone! And thanks to the people that sent me such nice PMs too <3 As for the cherry polenta cake - oh man that was a while ago. Not sure I remember exactly how I made it, haha. I found the original MFP recipe card I made for it and I thiiiink I cooked the cherries on the stove with the butter and sugar until…

Time for another small update - all of these recipes except for the vegan BBQ sandwich are up on my blog. I keep meaning to remake the BBQ sandwich for a blog post but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Avocado Salsa Banana Cake w/ Biscoff (Cookie Butter) Frosting Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Baguette Hazelnut Truffles…

I loved the beta but every time I tried to pre-order the Origin servers have tanked on me. People I know that have the game installed are saying they're having trouble getting into games as well. I still plan on getting it though.

made avocado salsa and stuffed it into corn tortillas with black beans and queso fresco. i also ate some with tortilla chips. my friend was nice enough to model for me :p
-
when i have black bean burgers i like them a couple of ways, but the ways i do it most often are with bacon (veggie bacon for me but you could always use real bacon), lettuce, tomato, and whisky cheddar cheese or with avocado, lettuce, tomato, and pepper jack cheese. whenever i make my mediterranean burger i like to put…

made pho for the first time. there are some things i would do differently the next time around but overall i thought it was quite tasty.

I really like making scrambled tofu for breakfast. If you have more time to cook then you can saute up onion, garlic, and spicy peppers in a bit of oil before adding in the crumbled tofu. Then put in typical taco seasoning sort of spices (I do salt, chili, cumin, oregano, etc), fresh cilantro, and extras like cooked veggie…

yeah, that's pretty much where i am at now. i spent tons of time harvesting to build higher level picks because i didn't want to start building until i had all of the tools at my disposal. got all of the building tools but never actually built anything on my claim because i didn't want to get burnt out from harvesting more…

Here is a folder with a bunch of the screenshots I've uploaded. Bear in mind that this is in alpha, not even beta yet - so there are plenty of kinks to be worked out and this isn't how the final product will look. These screenshots aren't all that great but they show a few different things. :)…

Just to clarify - the alpha is for EQ Next Landmark, which is the Minecraft style sandbox game. It's not the MMO I'm playing. As far as I know the MMO is still a ways off from testing. I don't think that paying to get into an alpha is such a big deal. The fan base wants to be involved in the creation of the game and the…

Alpha has started for Landmark, the f2p sandbox style game that is to accompany the mmo :) I've been playing that and it's really cool so far! Obviously it's very incomplete and still ripe with bugs being in alpha and all, but it's showing lots of promise. I can post a few screenshots if people are interested :)

I'm 5'4, 34 years old, and I started at 215. :)

Given that surgery was involved, I would be tempted to say you should speak with your doctor to get some safe recommended exercises that won't cause you any further problems. However if you've already spoken with your doc and s/he just said to take it easy, something like standing crunches or standing oblique twists might…

if it were me, i would probably make one of the tasty desserts you mentioned and then share it. when i make full fat desserts I will eat a little myself and then send the rest to work with my boyfriend or give the remainder to a friend. you get to indulge a little and everyone will love you. ;)
-
does your friend have a blog? i don't tend to purchase cookbooks anymore but i always enjoy creative uses for cocoa powder since i always have some on hand. i like to add it to my enchilada sauce sometimes for an easy mole type of thing :)
-
I've been playing a ton, but to be totally honest I'm not very good at it (I have no prior experience with card games) and it makes me rage so much that my boyfriend suggested I uninstall it... >_> It's quite fun though and I've recommended it to a lot of people. Today I opened a deck and got a golden legendary Gruul card…
