Hi everyone, I just had my fourth dose of Terzepitide (Mounjaro compound) today so I've been on it about 3 weeks. I've lost about 9 lbs, started out quick (6 lbs the first week) and then slowed a bit, hit a stall this last week or so but next week I'll start an increased dose so I hope that helps a bit. I'm 42 years old…

Hi Ashley! I just recently started on Tirzepatide which is different but similar to semaglutide; it's also a GLP-1 drug. I'm also looking for more friends on a similar journey. I'm 42 years old, no kids, busy life right now with work and school and struggling to fit in exercise but my school work should lighten up in a bit…

Hey everyone. Hope everyone is surviving this madness. I'm finding it challenging to meal prep and eat healthy foods right now with the limitations at the grocery stores here. Im having to plan my week of food prep while at the store after seeing whats available. On a plus note, still continuing my loss. Down to 263 today…

@kathrynegrady We have a trailer and fortunately are able to cook fairly good meals but we do a lot of sitting around, playing games with snack foods and drinking LOL So I need to learn to tone this down a bit or find healthier snacks. We usually can do hiking and stuff near by so there are options for exercise. I just…

@Savannah80 Sounds like we've had a similar couple of weeks (minus the half marathon for me-- That's awesome!!) Today is a new day, a new week, etc. Just try to do better today and then repeat tomorrow :)

Hey everyone! I've been MIA for a couple of weeks. Got off track a bit. Still continued to log but didn't make it to the gym for a couple of weeks and wasn't eating that great. But, I managed to stay at a maintenance amount and didn't gain any weight so that's a plus. Getting back on track this week. My goals this month…

Good morning everyone. Checking in. I usually weigh myself several times a week but since I joined on Tuesday last week, I'll have Tuesdays be my official weigh in day. Today my weight was 267.6, exactly the same as a week ago. I was up a little Sunday and Monday morning after a weekend of a few drinks out both Sat and…

Ugh. Slightly frustrated today. Today I feel like my cold is coming back. I think I pushed too hard and went back to the gym too quickly after being sick last week. I had planned to go again today but I think I am going to back off and get a few days of rest and try again next week.

@Terytha Not weird at all! These types of things always sound fun to me, but I HATE being dirty. Haha So I'm not sure I could handle it. @sharpdust I look forward to your shared recipes! When I'm motivated, I cook fairly often. It something me and my husband really enjoy doing together. I went to Culinary school for a…

@sharpdust I also ate a salad today- Dole's Asian chopped salad kit. Me and my husband split it and add some deli turkey to it for a good 300 cal lunch. They have several ones that are all around similar calories (250 ish) for half the package. We usually add some kind of protein to it. Sounds like maybe you had the same…

@CupcakeCrusoe That salad sounds delicious! I've yet to make my own falafel but am going to give it a try soon.

Hey all! Hope I can join. I'm not new to MFP-Been off and on for several years. Lost 80 lbs about 8 years ago with MFP and another website and have slowly put it back on. At the beginning of the year, when I hit my same weight as my heaviest 8 years ago, it motivated me enough to take it serious this time. My husband is on…

I rotate a few different things that I can take and eat at work. Half a whole wheat english muffin with .75 tbsp peanut butter, hard boiled egg & Mandarin orange or Steelcut Oatmeal w/ berries or raisins and some sliced almonds or yogurt with granola and banana or kashi cinnamon harvest cereal and milk w/ banana, sometimes…

Unfortunately the send recipe to friend only works if you both have the same phone, I think. I tried with my husband, I have an iphone and he has a Samsung and it did not work.

Hi all! I'm new to this group. My name is Tuesday, 37 years old in Utah. I am married with an 18 year old step son and four fur babies. I've been over weight as long as I can remember. About 19 years ago a list about 85 lbs,was down to 200 but have slowly put almost all of it back on. I work in an office and unfortunately…

I love cottage cheese with fruit like pears or peaches, or with cut up tomatoes, salt and pepper but my favorite thing to use it for is this low calorie spinach artichoke dip. You can eat almost the entire recipe for less than a hamburger. Spinach Artichoke Dip 1 bag of baby spinach, or a box of frozen 1 can artichoke…

How is this recipe different than normal overnight oats? It seems similar to the other ones I've seen for overnight oats. Just curious what the difference is between what you tried and didn't like, and this. Thanks!

One of my favorites (on any fish) is a sprinkling of some S & P, a little ground coriander and cumin and something for spice like cayenne pepper and bake it in the oven or pan fry it. Once it's done, top it with a little mango salsa.

Welcome! You can do it. One day at a time :)

Wow this takes me back. LOL (Lived in Ohio about 10 years ago)

We're making a couple different flavors of smoked chicken wings, a Greek 7 layer dip (Hummus, greek yogurt, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, feta) with pita chips and veggies and some cold shrimp with cocktail sauce.
