Listen to your body. It isn't a nutrition issue it is a fitness issue. When touring I routinely do 75 miles a day for extended periods. Doing 60 miles in 4 hours is much different than doing 40 miles in 4 hours. However far you go Enjoy It!!!

Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore. Perhaps the funniest book I have ever read. Multiple opportunities to bust a gut.

I like a little balsamic vinegar or seasoned rice vinegar. Add some garlic if you like. Add a little low/no fat sour cream to make it creamier.

A couple of classics would be A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller. The Road by Cormac McCarthy. A more recent and very popular series is The Passage by Justin Cronin. Several books by Neal Stephenson fit the bill. Particularly Anathem and The Diamond Age. I really enjoyed both of them. A current, hot book soon to…

The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. Books 1 and 2 of a trilogy. This is a fantastic series. Well written and interesting characters living in an intriguing universe of magic, science and art. Highly recommended! Can't wait for book 3.

Okay. I'm a bif sci-fi fan. John Scalzi "Old Man's War" was good. Pandora's Star by Peter Hamilton is the beginning novel of a truly epic two part series (with Judas Unchained). I'm also a huge fan of Neil Gaiman. American Gods, Anansi Boys and Neverwhere are some of my favorites. Tim Powers has written some incredible…

I use the LG HBS-700 wireless stereo headphones. They are the 'in-ear' type and they don't go around the top of your head so they don't get in the way of my helmet. They work very well for music and for phone calls. I usually slow or stop for calls. I would be hesitant to do any urban street riding with headphones on. I…

Hi. To keep within your goal on this website you can eat up to the calories you burn in addition to your 1200 calories. Many people don't eat back all of the calories. I find my weight loss is most reliable when I keep my total calorie consumption at 1500 or less regardless of my burn calories. However, everyone is…
