  • I really enjoy their Trader Giottos baked eggplant parmesean. As well as their frozen stir fry veggies, Soyaki sauce-this stuff is seriously AMAZING!!, frozen pepper blend ($2 cheaper than at Target) and their frozen chicken chow mein is great for a quick low calorie meal. I just bought their black bean soup but I havent…
  • bump this is great!
  • depending on how much time I have in the morning will vary what I eat. When I have time I like to have egg beaters with cheese and ham or sometimes will use light bread and make an egg sandwich with it. you can cook the egg beaters in the mircrowave too! I work in an office so i have to use what ive got. Another fast and…
  • You need to look at this as a one day at a time type thing. You can't be in the mind frame that you are going to start eating healthy and working out and 4 days later you will be the size you want to be. Start with small realistic goals. I have fallen off the wagon, gotten back on and fallen off yet again. Today is my day…
  • I have been experiencing alot of hip pain due to the fact that I am training for a marathon. Have you tried doing the hip flexor stretch? I have found that really helps for me. My trainor thinks that it is just sore becaue of the amount of work I am doing. I think this could be a similiar situation.

  • This is such a hard topic for me. I used to feel so ashamed of how fat I had let myself get. I've lost almost 60 pounds and still trying to lose more. But this is all on a 5'1" frame. I havent really dated anyone for more than a few weeks since I've been single which has been about 2.5 years. I still have a poor self…

  • Really weight watchers is all about portion size, things in moderation, balanced diet and accoutability. I feel through reading others stories or asking questions on MFP you can get more information from such a diverse group of people, some of which have already done the journey, are currently on it, or those who are…
  • squats and lunges. Lots and lots :-)
  • This was really interesting, thanks for sharing!!!
  • My drink of choice is flavored vodka (citrus, mandrin, blueberry, rasberry etc) with soda water and some lemons or limes. You can also had a splash of cranberry or bring in your own crystal light packets.
  • I'm not sure how motivational this is, but I like to remind myself "nothing tastes as good, as being thin feels"
  • I have a new found love of protein. It fills you up, but leave you satisfied so much longer then carbs will. I love cottage cheese, or yogurt. One of my new favorite things is also the target brand protein bars. They taste just like a candy bar but have 12-14 grams of protein in them so they leaving you feeling full and…
  • Some things that re inspire my motivation are certain TV shows like biggest loser or two new shows called Heavy on A&E that is on Monday nights and I used to be fat on MTV on Wednesday nights. I also have found some books that have inspired me. One in particular is called "Secrets of a Former Fat Girl." I find that…
  • Some days its going to be really easy to say no, and some days its going to be really hard. I think you should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself for not caving last night!!! I found for myself the longer I go "without caving" the stronger my will power becomes. You know that their eating is only hurting their bodies and not…
  • Minne-im so cold I cant feel my toes-sota :-)
  • I definetly reccomend getting gloves designed for out door running, they keep your hands dry and warm. I ran a 10K Thanksgiving morning with horrible gloves that absorbed all my sweat and left my hands nearly frozen by the end.
  • I sit on a medicine ball at work so sometimes when im feeling ambitious I will do some situps. You could also look into getting some arm and ankle resistance bands to keep at your desk to do some arm or leg workouts. You could even trying getting some ankle weights and walking around with those on.
  • Have you tried going to Taco Bell and getting food off of their "fresco" menu? Or if I do go to mcdonalds I will get grilled chicken snack wraps without the ranch or dressing. And I will get the apple dippers instead of fries with a milk. You can make healthier decisions whereever you go my just being conscious. Also I…
  • Amen to everything that everyone has said!! The support on this site is amazing! Your goals are within reach, it will just take committment and determination. I find watching shows like biggest loser, or two new shows this season called "i used to be fat" on MTV on wednesday nights and "Heavy" on A&E that is one monday…
  • I have them quite frequently during the work week. I prefer the smartones or lean cuisiine. But it really depends on what is on sale :-) I typically have them with fresh vegtables and fruit though. I find eating atleast a cup to a cup and half of raw veggies with some hummus or dipping the vegtables in the lunch (depending…
  • I've noticed that doing lunges, both forward, backward and ones to the side always make my inner thighs sore. Also doing squats in the sumo position really targets your inner thighs. Sumo squats are where you have your legs out about shoulder distance apart and have your toes pointing outward. You can hold a weight while…
  • I had a friend who got a garmin one to track distances for running. It works great at calculating distances and how long each mile will take, but it doesnt work inside so I would steer away from any that are made specifially for calculating distances as that could be a drawback with all of them. I have the Polar F7 and I…
