Wondering how on Earth I made it to 11:58 PM with that many calories left. Seriously, dinner and dessert take up at LEAST that, if not more.

Dinner.

I'm working out on Thanksgiving, only because I cannot work out the day after. *shrug* I guess that makes me a douche?
-
I've exercised in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night. For me, I tend to feel better exercising in the morning, before I do anything else. Having food in my system while I exercise, for some reason, makes me feel sluggish.

Full fat yogurt is pure heaven, although depending on how many calories you have, it might be harder to fit into your daily allowance.

I eat the same breakfast and lunch on the weekdays. I tend to prefer it since I'm at work and not really focused on the food so much as just having enough energy to make it through the day. Also, this way I have the bulk of my calories saved up for dinner, where I can savor and enjoy. :) (The weekends are a whole other…

Thank you for this post~ I love me some sushi. :D

Just say no.

Neither. Dr Pepper all the way! :drinker: ...Okay, okay, if I HAD to choose just one, between regular Coke or regular Pepsi, I'd probably choose Pepsi.

My goal is to get to 160 and see how I look there. If I'm not happy and feel I could lose a little more, then I'll aim for those last 10 pounds to get to 150. :)

^^^^ This.

First of all, congratulations! As a former "forever obese" girl, it feels great slipping down to the next BMI range. I'm actually in the same conundrum as you: I want to get to a healthy BMI (even if it's just on the edge of overweight and healthy), but when I tell people this they look at me like, "Where exactly do you…

THIS. I'll also eat it as a mayo substitute.

EAT ALL THE MUSHROOMS!
-
Feel free to send all that pie over this way. I limit carbs, mainly because they make me hungry. But I still eat my fair share. And I don't drink my calories very often, but that's only because I enjoy eating...

:flowerforyou: Well played.

For some people it might be the switch from processed foods to more "natural" ones. Personally, having actually gone through this, I think it's a mental thing: you want to lose weight so much, your brain convinces your body it's full on so little food.

:drinker: As I former member of the 1200 club, seeing these posts (especially with the SLEW of 1200 calorie posts we get daily) pleases me greatly.

1959, with a goal of 2000. :)

Eat more calorie dense food, maybe? Avocados, nuts, cheese, etc.
-
I wouldn't mind trying them, depending on how they're prepared.

From one "always fat" girl to another, let me tell ya: 1800 isn't all that much, depending on what foods you're eating. If you are doing cardio, I would suggest trying MFP's settings + eating back calories. If you're doing more strength training, try TDEE.
-
Totally making this. :)

I usually pre-log on weekdays. Weekends are more flexible. If I know what we are having/where we'rwe'll be eating, I'll pre-log. Otherwise I post-log.

I remember when I was trying to go vegan making sweet potato brownies from scratch. They were...okay. I say stick with regular old brownies and eat less of it--unless you ARE vegan, in which case I'm sure they'll be fine.

That last part is what scares me. That is not a healthy relationship to have with food. Trust me, I get the fear of bumping up calories. I just moved from 1800 to 2000 this week. Didn't gain a thing--actually lost weight!

Bumpity bump!

I do the bodyweight/strength training from the WiiFit, and I can tell you--I do work up a sweat and am quite sore the next day. Sooo....*shrug*
