Didn't get to the gym until 10:30pm, so was pretty tired. Squat: 5x5@85 Barbell row: 5x5@65 Bench: 2x5@45, 1x5@65, 1x4@65, then I quit - felt pain in my right tricep, actual pain, and was done. Plank: 1x60 seconds - I plank between sets of my bench so I got one in. I may need to reconsider plank timing.

Except OHP and row also work your core if you do them correctly and heavy enough.

Good workout today - OHP gave me the same weight as last time in the app even though I didn't fail last time. By the time I noticed it I was on set 4 but no worries because it was HARD. Hi! I'm newish too. I am starting my fourth week and really no more DOMS. I also deloaded once to fix my form in squats and that made all the difference in how much soreness I was feeling in my thighs.

You have to use a squat rack! What clothes do you think you'd wear? I wear yoga pants and a t shirt on the regular. But I know the gym can be intimidating.

I agree with BCAAs helping and the idea that this won't last for long. Also there is a slight soreness that feels good and an "I can barely move" soreness that doesn't - the former is a good thing and the latter is not. I feel the same. I love my fitbit but today I took a non-strenuous walk for 23 minutes and later ran (fast! hard! sweaty!) on the elliptical for 23 minutes.
