I posted on my facebook asking if anyone wanted to be a diet buddy via texting/email. A gay boy I know posted saying to join him on MyFitnessPal, so I checked it out and started. That was like 235 days ago :)

Just saw this! I'm in Northern NJ too - Montclair area. There are lots of things to enjoy the area. There's the "boardwalk" from Hoboken to Jersey City, which has a great city view. In Essex County, there's Eagle Rock Reservation, Mills Reservation, and South Mountain Reservation, all of which have hiking trails. There are…

I generally use: Mashed avocado Olive Oil Mayo (40 cals per tbsp) Hummus Laughing Cow Lite Cheese (a variety of flavors) Mustard Vinegar

I stop at dinner, which is usually around 6:30. But, sometimes I'll eat dinner at 8 after my workout. And occasionally I'll have a small post-workout snack..

That happened to me yesterday. I poured a huge iced coffee with about 8 ounces of milk in it. At the end of the day, I realized I only drank like 1/4 of it. So, a bonus 75 or so calories :)

Man, I feel left out. I haven't gotten any 'shag like rotweillers" emails!

A pedometer tells you steps...the HRM will tell you calories. Polar is a good brand, but they're expensive. Get one with a chest strap, whatever you do. FYI, though, I got a HRM and find that the MFP estimates are pretty accurate. Just a little off...

If someone makes them, lemme know how they taste!

I stopped by the store this morning for lunch: a little tray of veggies w/ ranch (140 cals) and a hummus and prezel tray (250 cals). But, now someone won a lunch here and there's a yummy salad included, so I may switch my lunches around :) Yum. I need the veggies for sure!

Everyone have a good week! Healthy lunches at work! :)

I think the hubby isn't supportive if he's eating them knowing it's driving you that crazy. But, in the interim, leave the house. Go on a walk. Or, grab one or two, and take them on the walk. Then you get your craving, but not an extreme number of points.

Bump.Anyone?

North Jersey here - Essex COunty. Anyone close?

I'm curious too. There's one in NY in August and it looks FUN, but I definitely would be like one of the last to finish and might not be able to do several of the challenges. But, it'd be fun to push myself nonetheless.

I'm a C cup and Moving Comfort works well for me. The fiona. You can get them on Amazon for like $25 and usually free shipping there frequently. At the sports store, it's $48.

I mix mine with 1/2 a cup of Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles. That's only about 60 calories, but good protein and tasty :)
-
You look AMAZING!! And, so confident and happy!

Your body just has to adjust to it. I like mine super, duper cold. Then it tastes great. Go spend some time out in the heat -t hen you'll want water, LOL.

Hmmmm....ME, really. I've always excelled intellectually, but now I want to excel physically. And, my son: I don't want him to know me as a fat mom. I want us to have a fun, full life together.

I'm CJ, 33, from Northern NJ. I've lost 50 pounds and would like to lose another 40-60. Mostly right now my goals are physical: to have more balance, flexibility, agility, and strength. So, I've been doing yoga and pilates, in addition to lots of walking and such for cardio health.

WOW - amazing!!!

Well, that's all-or-nothing thinking! So, you had ice cream. Eat a little less for dinner. Or, go on a post-dinner walk. There's room for ice cream in your life - it isn't a "bad" food, per se. And, you didn't throw your jog out the window. It's still with you, it increased your heart rate, it helped your body.

I'm not a fan of french fries. I wouldn't say I hate them, but I rarely eat them. I really don't like any fast food, except Taco Bell. Also not really a salty carbs person...I'd be fine in a world without potato chips, for example. Actually, I'd be fine in a world without a lot of carbs, like pasta, white rice, potatoes,…

Do you mean each week you're losing 2-3 pounds? Or, that you're stuck and it fluctuates up and down 2-3 pounds?
-
Wow! You're absolutely gorgeous! Congrats!

I've found that it something sounds too good to be true, then it usually is... The only way to lose weight and inches permanently is to eat healthier and move more...

I hardly ever eat fried foods anymore and definitely try to avoid trans fats. I'll have to up my fiber and whole grains and maybe see a nutrition.
