I used to do a bit of BanishFatBoostMetabolism as a warm-up to 30DayShredd or some more abs work at the end. You could add anything to it (before or after), just make sure you eat enough for the exercising you do.

I finished Insanity yesterday. Main goal with it: decreasing fat%. Which it did. It also gave me more resistance. Don't have much weight to lose, so it wasn't an issue, did lost 1kg the first month but put it back last week. Don't know about the body composition, but I have less centimeters at waist and hips and look…

I don't count calories, never did. I do log some of the exercising, not always cause I also keep it on paper, so... I basically use the site for info.

Thanks for posting this. I watched it on youtube. Interesting to know about the history of diet industry.
-
I'm doing it 2 times/week. Should be more, though. It does improve skin texture.

Thanks for clearing this up, OP. I, for one, needed the explanation.

I thought of Tabata training for the abs part. Will see after I finish what I do now. I would like to hear about people who tried this.

Can't say about smile... but I noticed the biceps:blushing: ...

saved for later. thank you!

I would say stick with the program. Your resistance will grow as time goes by, not to worry. It always happens this way. You'll be amazed of what few days of training will do. Just be mindful to what your body tells you and you'll be fine. Do what you can and don't compare with the recording (with what the group does).

If you feel tired and lack energy, you're not eating enough. As for the workout, try some dancing (the style you prefer but low-impact) or any workout that is not overly agressive.
-
What do you do besides Pilates? High intensity training or something less intense? Assuming you eat enough for the type of ex you do, you might just need to change your routine a little to get rid of this plateau. Spice things up a bit so the body doesn't get used to the workout.

Things that are supposed to help: HYDRATING good for the skin regardless of the problem. DRY BRUSHING helps the texture of the skin, the cell turnover. SCRUB when showering, to get ridd of dead cells. I use coffee grinds and sugar but use whatever you prefer. MOISTURIZING It will not make them go away, as it cannot change…

I'm pale too and never tan in the sun, only get burned, that being the reason I avoid it... It's funny the views society has on what is trendy regarding skin colour. The west is stuck with "it's cool to be tanned... (anyway one can..)" and in Asia women try their best to avoid getting ANY tan in order to aquire that…

Oh, my, so hillarious!

5'6" here, stuck at 130 lbs for some months now. However, the mirror shows changes, some abs and better looking arms and legs. I've been doing Jillian dvds and I'm month 2 in Insanity now. Not sure how much I want to lose though cause lowering the BF seems to be giving me better results.

I have only recently become interested in zumba and I started doing a playlist with what I liked on youtube. Shakira's "waka waka" is one of my favourite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPv8ZGrb78Y I also tried a zumba workout (30min,) on middle eastern music apparently, that's well done:…

Cardio is pretty much the same all levels: jumping jacks, high knees, jumping rope, skater, twisted jumps (a lot of jumps in the cardio). Do not stress your knees with jumps if your problem persists. Try to take it slower (maybe jogg in place) and give them few days of rest. It's better to have a break than get an injury.…

What are your plans after finishing RI30? Anyone going with Insanity? Or are you going to repeat some 30ds or Ri30? Other workouts in mind? I'm curious cause I'm still not decided myself (2 more weeks to go till then....)
-
There isn't much warmup for the knees/ankles in the 30ds. Jillian actually does some warmup exercise for the knees AFTER the first jumping jacks... So make sure you warm up well before cause the jumps are no joke.
-
Ok, so there's really no one else who knew/tried it...
-
It has 3 levels, each level for 10 days (or 9 or whatever you choose) so together they make a month of circuit training. Different levels are for increased difficulty while you progress, so your body doesn;'t get bored with the workout. You can find all 3 levels on the net. Good luck to all!

All women posting here are such an inspiration! I hope I'll gather my courage soon, though I don't have a bikini yet...

So cute! Both looks are nice and you did a great job slimming down. The shoes remind me of Dorothy...

Will start week 2 tomorrow but for now I just enjoy my REST day. Just a little bit of running and no Jillian... What about you girls? What's your rest day about? "No workout" day or just a pause on Ripped?
-
Did the 30DS, doing the Ripped in 30, and adding BanishFatBoostMetabolism about 2 times a week, as it is a great cardio. Haven't tried other of her workouts but I will in the future.
-
Oh, no...! Not planks again! Those were killers in 30DS level2 also. Oh, well, I have 2 more days to prepare emotionally for that...
-
10 pushups, thanks to Jillian...
