This is true for me as well. I do not count calories and don't log meals either, but having MFP was helpful. Found a lot of info here, motivational stories to keep me going when I feel low, so as long as I am mindful at what I eat and try to keep the habit of exercising, I'm doing okay.

Girls, you are such inspiration! Thanks for posting and good luck on your journey! I absolutely love this kind of threads...

You've done such a great job! Keep doing what you are doing. Also, at the last photo you posted, I was thinking... "Bond. James Bond." Congrats!

Thanks for the group. Joyned already. Gather up, wrimos, and spill your secrets of staying on track while still getting those 1667 words a day...

Tips, please...?

So glad to find wrimos here. How was your 3rd day?

So, so true. In the end, it all comes to this.

Aren't small steps always better? Instead of just eliminating sugar altogether, simply try to get smaller dosage. Less sugar with your tea or coffee. Replace white sugar with brown (you'll probably notice it's less sweet). Less sweet drinks (unless you juice them yourself) less ketchup, etc.

When reading posts about this habit of gathering together at the workplace and eating food makes me appreaciate more I work in a small company where there's no such thing. Couldn't this be replaced somehow? Like instead of staying together for 2 hours while eating and talking, better get a training session with the whole…

So, so true. On another note... I guess I should give up on chickpeas already. Oh, well...

Do you warm up before jumping on the treadmill...? Pain in the joints can mean something simple as an alarm that your body starts for not being ready for that effort. Or something more serious, that needs medical attention.

2 pounds per week is GREAT. Just imagine what you'll be like 365 days later. Avoid falling into the pitfalls of wanting results fast. Small steps on the long term are much better. Do not stress too much and find ways to enjoy the process of change.

Thanks a lot! Great post.:flowerforyou:

Sunflower sprouts EVERY morning... Trying to make it a habit.

On the way to 40 but not quite there yet. Single, no kids and husband in sight... My relatives ALWAYS rush me to marry and have kids, extremely annoying pressure, as if my life wouldn't be complete without it... Interesting how conservative 21st century society/family still is in what people's menthality is concerned. My…

Coke , Zero or not, it's still a carbonated drink ( a lot of sugars and sodium) and the best thing you could do for your health is to give it up. I'd recomend watching "Sugar - The Bitter truth" found online to find more about what you put inside your body... And some "Dead doctors don't lie" along with it...

I heard arugula is one of the best greens you could eat for your health because of the sulphur compounds. I want to grow some this year right in my bedroom, to munch on whenever I feel like. But I started the seeds too early (ooops...) and they barely grow... Flowers are also edible and peppery.

First, DON'T BE HARSH WITH YOURSELF. Next, drink A LOT OF WATER. Then, continue with your program as usual...

Aren't flax seeds a good source of protein? Planning on adding these to my diet to up the protein intake. Probably as a powder to yogurt/smoothies.

You can put it as circuit training.

Better to think about the whole children issue (to have or not to have) than to bring a baby into this world because it just HAPPENED... Just watch Idiocracy and will know what I mean.

Glad to be of help. I'm doing that short workout myself when I don't wanna upset my neighbour... Not always though:devil:

Insanity is tough on the joints because there's so much plyometrics in most of the workouts. It is not meant to be done all year round and whoever does this is prone to longtime injuries. I did it only once, barefoot, no problems to make me stop but I did felt pressure at one of my knees after the first weeks, so I took…
