I'm going to join in with this, hopefully give me the motivation to get back into exercising.

I did 20 minutes of dancing yesterday, not much but it's a start.

I'm in, I need to get back into exercising and I find it motivates me if I sign up fer chalkenges. I'm going to start doing some dancing or aerobic exercises while waiting for dinner to cook, walk more and start using my exercise bike again.

I finally joined the gym, did my induction on Monday and stayed for over an hour afterwards to try out some of the equipment, then went back for another hour after work on Wednesday. I'm hoping to go at least once or twice a week from now on, and start going swimming on a regular basis too.

I couldn't agree more. My weight has yo yo'd for many years, but this time I am so confident that it will stay off, because I have learned so much about how to keep my weight under control, whereas in the past I would get to my ideal weight and then go back to 'eating normally', which of course is how I got fat in the…

When I was overweight, I struggled to walk home from work (I have a 10-15 minute walk), as it's slightly uphill, sometimes it was so bad that I was convinced I had heart problems or asthma, or that it was because of my age. Also while at work if I needed to go upstairs and used the stairs, I had to rest halfway up and…

I'd like to give this a go. Yesterday I walked 2.52 miles and today I did another 3.29 miles, which in total took 152 minutes.

I'm ashamed to admit that I put on 9 pounds, between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day, but I have already lost 5 of those pounds so hopefully it will all come off again soon.

My partner is 100% supportive and praises my efforts daily. He also needs to lose some weight, and is eating healthily too so that helps, but even if he wasn't he would have to eat whatever I cook for myself, as he can't cook and would go hungry otherwise, lol! I also have plenty of support from my mother-in-law and…

Hi Fran, I'm 52, have been on MFP since May and would recommend it to anyone, feel free to add me. Sue.

When I'm at home I usually wear jogging bottoms, which just pull up and down, without the need to undo them. One day last week I pulled my trousers down, then realized that I was still wearing my work trousers, and I'd pulled them down without undoing the buttons and zip!

Hi, I'd just like to say good luck on your weight loss journey, do you have much to lose? Sue.

Congratulations! I have a pair of jeans in the next size down that I try on every week, at the moment they are at the muffin top stage, but I'm hoping that in the next couple of weeks they'll be at the wearable stage.

Well done on the weight loss so far, and good luck in reaching your goal!
-
I have about 27 pounds to go until I get to my ultimate goal, although I may reassess once I get there, as it depends on how I look and feel then.
-
I agree with what others have said, baby steps is the way to go, but I would also advise that you don't think about the 150 lb total that you have to lose, break it down into 'bite size' pieces. Go for no more than 7 pounds at a time, maybe give yourself a small, non-food, treat when you reach each 7 pound goal (I usually…

Well done for resisting the urge to binge, be proud of yourself for being so strong, and when you get the urge again try to think of this time, of how strong you were, and how much better you will feel when you get your weight to where you want it. Also don't try for skinny and healthy, make it slim and healthy, good luck!

Well done on losing the weight and getting back to where you want to be! If you're size 10 then you are not fat, I'm aiming for size 10/12 (as this is what I was before I started putting on weight) and I'm only about 5' 3", however having yo yo'd for many years I know how you feel. Whenever I get my weight down, it's like…

Of course you can do it, you need to really want to and have faith in yourself, but once you do anything is possible! It will take time, the weight didn't go on overnight and it won't come off overnight either, and won't be easy (in my opinion nothing worth having ever is easy) but it will be worth it! Good luck!
-
That's fantastic, well done!

I know how you feel, my weight has yo-yo'd for years, each time I get to my ideal weight and say this time it's staying off, but it always comes back and brings a few friends with it, lol! Good luck with achieving your goal and feel free to add me!

I do step on the scales most days, but I only count it on my 'official' weigh in day, which is Friday.

Day one, 50 done!

Hi, I'm new here and would love to join in this challenge.
