oops yeah my deadlifts are in workout B lol. thought i was missing something haha. I have been doing just forgot to enter on myfp. I also do weigh my food :P even to the precise gram :P of much annoyance to my wife hehe.

just to clarify, my 5x5 is as follows. a:bench press/squats/bent over row b:squats/overhead press/little bit of tri/bic that i add myself. workout a takes me about 40 mins and b about 30. not sure on calorie burn

that just sounds mental though! if i ate that i would gain for sure lol. I do eat LOADS of protein lol. i get around 130-160g a day. i been sticking to 2100 and not losing hardly anything? 15ibs to target is my ideal weight range? find that odd but its mainly my fat% being at 27% that worries me!

Hi there, I would suggest a decent lifting routine. It is actually a lot of hard work to gain muscle and takes a long time. But the fat burns quicker so you wouldn't get too muscly in the time that you were happy with body fat I imagine. Also some hit training is great. Hill sprints etc etc. But I really think some lifting…

Yep that's right :) make sure to eat 1500 on days you workout or more if workout is more intense etc. Days off you could eat less but never go below 1200.

To be honest a lot of ladies eat around the 1200 mark but I would suggest eating at least 1500 on days you work out. Just my opinion though :)

If your using mfp to calculate calories you need to eat back all your exercise calories also. Otherwise you would be under eating a lot :)

Ummm hell yeah! Lol. But yes pretty much every night as I work till 4am so I am always hungry. But I think it's a boredom thing. Finally at the end of the day so let's chill and eat. If you try your best to stick it out within 2 weeks the hunger will subside. Worked for me

Hi there, when you first start working out your body will hold a lot of water so that could be one thing the other thing is muscle is denser and heavier than fat. If clothes are fitting better then you will be losing fat but not a lot of muscle where as if you didn't lift etc you would lose faster because your muscle mass…

hi there, i do weigh all my food, i just think 2200 is alot isnt it? every time i think to lower it i then go and say nopes as thats the number it gave me for a reason. i do put 3-5 hours of exercise in as football is an hour and 5x5 takes atleast 40 mins a session. then insanity. Just feel like im doing something wrong…

Hi thanks for the response. Can't get to the doctor until Monday. My thoughts are I've over done it and strained my muscle. (After lots of Google research) seems the most likely. If it's still the same Monday I will definitely see the doctor.

Thanks for all the positive reinforcement guys, We all have been in this position i guess. It just sometimes feel like your warking your butt off for no results but i guess the magic is happening underneath the moobs lol

hmmm, Sometimes i just think ditch the weights and do cardio to get rid of the fat so i can start bulking. I been at it for about 7 months on and off though which is my own fault. Just feels like its going to take forever!

Hmm well can't upload a pic for some reason. Will say I play football and am relatively fit just high fat%. I run 5-6 miles as kinda max about 9:30 sec a mile if this helps

Hey, well I have my own gym in my garage. Full equipment after 2 years of saving up to buy. I do have small 1.5 kg weights also so yeah that's an idea. Hey guys, sorry should have added I've been lifting weights for about a year. I've just only started this program recently. Not really a novice. I bench 85kg to do 5x5 going to 90kg was too much. Just to give an idea where I'm at. Thanks

Yeah I guess so, I also think it's beginning of Jan and there is so much bad stuff left over from xmas. Hard to say no when u want it gone. But it's all about mindset with me. I get into it and do really well for a while and then 1 bad day and I go like this for a while. So frustrating

Hi thanks for reply, I do save some cals for after dinner but I work till 4 am and try not to consume any after 8pm. Diary is now open. I'm not even hungry it's cause im bored
