Leoni- thanks for that. i find if i eat back my exercise cals i always put on weight or if i am lucky i maintain so i try not to do that. my BMR cals are 1650 but i usually have 1500.

fit4life: I do try and fit some morning sessions in, i dont eat beforehand. but its a bit hard with a little one and work. I try and go to the gym every lunch time and do a 45 min class and i try to go to the gym at least once at the weekend. i do have a strong cup of black coffee 45 mins before my gym sessions. sometimes…

fit4life- i dug out some weights from the shed yesterday so can do some weight training in the evenings. what do you suggest? water- what do you suggest? Tavistock- when i eat back my calories i always gain weight.

I have also joined a slimming club- Slimming world, so i would not be able to eat those things. (i love peanut butter though!) i will check out the exercise cals tomorrow and put the correct number up according to the heart rate monitor

I am sure i have one at home. i will dig it out and use it tomorrow. going by the machines the calories are right.

i think i do eat quite a lot of protein, and i have a protein shake after my workout too. :(

thanks. i initially used those stats when i joined MFP, but when i plateaued i reduced my cals by 150.

Thanks for that. My exercise cals are right (i hope) as i enter my weight into the machine and record the cals at the end of the workout. I think the cals of my classes (spin etc) should be right too as i have worn one of those calorie counting watches previously. i find it really hard to eat back that many of my exercise…
