Sheldon swimming in the ball pool cracks me up, tears of laughter every time! My sister is a physics Dr, she would be ideal if the show ever needs a love rival for Sheldon's affections. Love her to bits but she's Sheldon in a skirt!

This is Kitty our Norwegian Forest Cat, so soft, fluffy, cuddly and loving. She adopted us, just turned up at the back door and moved in!

You look fabulous, and I love the new short haircut, you should be very proud of the changes you have made :flowerforyou:

My ex sister-in-laws were members of Slimming World in Northern Ireland and I followed the diet whenever I was visiting them. They had success when they stuck with it but often fell off the wagon and the pounds came back. Telling me I could eat as much as I wanted of something was dangerous, I seemed to lose my full-up…

Ian, I know you're not nasty, and I guess I also know I'm tarred with the "boring sod" brush - I don't think my wee boring pins could cope with a half marathon yet, and Warwick is a long way from Fife (always wanted to see the castle though!) It is possible to have a pretty good night out in Fife - honest - and the race I…

Hang in there, you can work through this. I'm thinking about how I would feel if my OH thought I had cheated, it must have really hurt you and it's natural for that hurt to then become anger as you work through it in your mind. I have a lot of male friends, and most of my OH's friends are happy to drop round for a coffee…

I use my exercise bike before breakfast a few days a week, I found this article a few months ago, made me feel quite virtuous about my pedaling! http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/12/15/phys-ed-the-benefits-of-exercising-before-breakfast/

If I'm being really honest, I joined MFP because my weight gain was hurting my relationship with my other half. Knowing that someone you love simply doesn't fancy you anymore is so painful, especially when it was caused by something I allowed to get out of control. I know that losing the weight is good for my health, makes…

You're already stuck with me Vicky, we can do this together!!!!!!!

I got a Couch to 5k app on my Blackberry, today was day 2 of week 6, I am so impressed with the changes to my stamina already. I started by just walking in my lunch break for a couple of months, then decided to challenge myself with jogging part of the route. I'm 41, loving every minute of it, YOU CAN DO IT!!

Hiya, I'm in Fife in Scotland, great to have friends in the same time zone, everyone feel free to add me. I log every day and like to offer support and encouragement.

You have gorgeous, shapely legs. I've never considered my calves large, though perhaps at close to 15 inches circumference other people would. The fact they are curvy saves me from the dreaded cankles. I suppose I do feel better about them now that my long boots zip up again (they didn't when I was at my highest weight)…

Thank-you, I needed to see that this morning

Hiya Dave, I'm in Scotland and log daily, got a right mad bunch on my friends list that are always up for a laugh! Feel free to add.

I always lose inches from my already meagre boobies, but as with previous posters, I have a waist now so my totsy, reduced assets don't look that bad, I'm pleased to say they remain pretty pert :blushing: Actually quite pleased that there is still enough to fill actual cups (B) I'm not back in a training bra yet!!!!

Scrambled eggs are the easiest thing ever in a microwave (Sshhs, my man is a chef and will shout at me!!) Just whisk up a couple of eggs and a dash of milk in a jug and…

I just did Week 5 Day 2 today, and then read what I should be doing on Friday, 20 MINUTES!!!! I'm game to give it a try! I run outside in Scotland so I've had frost, ice, snow flurries, fog and drizzle over the 5 weeks  being perfectly honest I am LOVING it!

Curly Wurly is made by Cadburys, it's a funky shaped strip of chewy caramel covered in cadburys milk chocolate, yes, it's naughty but only 130 calories and really cheers me up!

I opened my drawer for a peek, it has tiny boxes of raisins, caramel flavour snack a jacks, All Bran Breakfast Biscuits in Chocolate flavour - lots of fibre for days I'm lacking, little bags of mixed nuts and seeds (You are what you eat brand), a milky way and a curly wurly for days I really need cheering up! This time of year has so much stress attached to it, when lots of us already feel below par due to the lack of daylight, you are certainly not alone. I'm from Scotland, not known for good weather in the winter - or the summer either most years! I'm happy to say this is the first time in YEARS that I've felt fairly upbeat…

I'm in, need to wait until after work, boss might wonder what's going on if I start waving around tins of soup!
