I wear a Fitbit and it would still count the steps and tell me my calorie adjustment, so I guess it counts as exercise!

Fabulous!

My grandfather and my dad both died VERY suddenly and far too young of massive heart attacks. I have inherited the faulty gene that was probably a factor in their deaths (I'm part of an ongoing research study) so every day counts and I don't want to waste any more of them being too fat to have fun.

Mine is my profile pic, it does work, and you will start to see a change soon, taking photos is the best way to pick up on all the gradual changes!

Fabulous thread, making my snowy Friday morning all warm and fuzzy inside  thank-you!

I used to be so insecure I struggled to get myself out the house, and yes, losing weight has helped a bit with my self-confidence. Changing the level of importance I give to what others think of me (or what I think they think of me) was the big turn around. I now reckon folk can just accept me as I am or not bother with me…

I used to get VERY sore boobs every month but since I joined MFP and cut back on sodium and drank loads more water every day the monthly curse of sore boobs is no more. Suffered for years and feel blessed that it no longer bothers me!! The thought of wearing a better sports bra when my boobs were sore makes my eyes water,…

Congrats, you look fabulous, I'm sure your wee girl is very proud of her Daddy!

Well, I collect Elmo's, perhaps that's enough? My OH thinks it makes me weird anyway! I also park away at the end of a car park, my dad parked that way to avoid getting dents in his company car, I guess I caught it from him. I am really fussy about cutlery at home, it has to be 18/10 stainless steel, when I eat out I only…

Oh, I see myself in what you have written, and I have since managed to get control of my weight, still a bit to go but I already feel so much better about myself. My marriage was crumbling, then my Dad died very suddenly at only 67, whilst away on holiday, and my Mum just fell to bits, so I was looking after her, I split…

Aw, thank-you :blushing:

I get up from my desk every lunch break and go for a walk - 3 miles round the outskirts of the village and then back to my desk. I go in all weathers, I just wrap up and go, the afternoons feel great after all the fresh air, no more chocolate/coffee craving at 3pm!!

I lost lots of weight after my dad died very suddenly, then I met my boyfriend and put all that weight and more back on over the space of a year. Now, my boyfriend could certainly stand to lose a few pounds but I never mention anything like that, however, he started to tell me I was getting fat - and I admit I was but…

My Wii Me was "plump/fat" after a weigh-in before, I'm pleased to say my virtual spare tyre has gotten smaller - as has my real one! My Wii Fit age has been anything from 15 years younger than I am to 20 years older (yes the younger days cheered me up and the older ones made me want to launch the damn thing out the window!)

When I was on 1200 cals a day, my favourite breakfast was poached egg, grilled mushrooms, grilled cherry tomatoes, and a quarter can of baked beans. I'll need to look back through my diary to get the cals total. Gave me lots of energy to get through to lunch, or I had some fruit around 11am if I was feeling hungry…

I'm a Scottish redhead, <<< the pic today was taken my wedding day, I bowed to pressure back then and got a St Tropez tan, every time I look at the photos I laugh because I'm NEVER that colour, I think I look foreign! I'm happy being pale, even though the dazzle off my white legs could cause blindness. People have a joke…

I buy the Heinz Reduced Sugar and Salt baked beans, just grabbed a can for comparison with the other 2 above: Per half-can: 145 cal 9.5g protein 7g sugars 0.4g sodium = 0.9g salt Fat 0.4g Sat Fat trace The are a bit more expensive than the regular baked beans.

I'm over 160 days, and I already see a couple of my very supportive friends in this thread, feel free to add me!

Thanks so much for taking time to take the photos whilst making your pizza, I have read about this style of pizza crust so many times but never fancied trying it until now... heading to buy a cauli on the way home from work!! :drinker:

Mine is a pic of Beaghmore Stone Circles in Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland, one of my favourite places, very peaceful - only a few miles from my ex-in-laws home.

I didn't mean to chuckle at this... it ended up a full blown belly laugh!!

My state is the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland. We have St Andrews, considered the home of golf, numerous other golf courses, parks, beaches, quaint fishing villages like Crail, historic castles like Aberdour, and right up to date with "T in the Park" music festival every July.

I'm wearing Lucky jeans today (thanks TK Maxx in the UK!) and although I would prefer a zip rather than button fly, there is no butt crack showing!
-
Mavi jeans today, my favourite pair from way back are Tommy Hilfiger and I can now fit into them again, it's a fabulous feeling. I'm an apple so skinny legs and still plenty tummy!

Yes, my size 3 shoes are loose now, extra socks required with my walking boots. Specs are slack and sitting further down my nose, it was ages before I realised why I was needed to push my specs up every few minutes :blushing:
