Boy shorts for me, and most have Elmo, Cookie etc on them... beware the day I wear the Oscar the Grouch ones, stay out of my way lol. I've been looking at sugar intake for a couple of weeks, I've decided if it's from vegetables or fruit then I'm not worried about it, just looking at the rest and trying to cut it back if I can. I have a genetic form of diabetes, resulting in blood sugars that are always higher than normal, I reckoned in my health journey…

Well done on the 19 pound loss!! I started to get back into exercising by going out for a walk in my lunch break, the first week the weather wasn't too bad, then the second week it turned, somehow I found myself getting into waterproofs and still going for my walk. I'm in Scotland so we get pretty mixed weather, I have not…

I have a favourite pair of Hilfiger trousers, I bought them in TK Max but they were too small for me, then I lost weight when my father sadly passed away, and I wore those trousers for a while, then the comfort eating piled the pounds back on, could not bring myself to throw the trousers out, I reckon I only have around 20…

My Dad had bad Rheumatoid Arthritis, couldn't eat any tomatoes as they always caused a flare-up. Oddly enough Heinz Tomato Soup didn't cause a flare up though... He found that salmon, chicken and other lean proteins helped, and although he considered yogurt to be less than manly, it helped too. Carrots, broccoli,…

People that are heckling you are probably ashamed that they can't achieve what you already have, well done, keep running and be proud of your achievements. People with small minds, sadly, prefer to insult and upset others rather than face their own inadequacies!!

It's so hard to take that step to see a professional and discuss what we consider to be a personal failing, however, mental health is talked about so much more freely now, there is no longer so much of a taboo about it. We are our own worst critics, and expect people will think the worst of us, that's our own mind doing…

I'm tea-total, and I used to get all the comments, I now volunteer to be the designated driver, but my friends all know my rule, just one comment about having just one drink and they are walking home!!!
