Ditto for Zumba and sticking with your plan! Zumba, P90X or Insanity videos, watching my sugar intake, and drinking lots of water helped me with my abs.

I am an Isagenix fan. I love the shakes and the supplements. The fasting diet is really good to your body and I wasn't starving. It is expensive, so I use it before a beach vacation or a special occasion if I want to cleanse and drop about 5-9 lbs. This is a great product to use if you have colon or gastrointestinal issues…

That is great! You can do it!

I bought a clear shoe container the size of a large shoe box and put my name on it. It holds most of my food that needs to be refrigerated. The rest of my stuff I keep in my file cabinet.

#1 Reason - Health! You cannot escape family genes, but you can do your best to avoid the affect they will have on your body! #2 Reason - My husband! We both love to travel and plan exciting new adventures. Being healthy and fit leaves all options open, regardless of our age!

Beach Body has a Results and Recovery mix that I drink after a particularly tough workout. It helps to alleviate some of the aches and soreness that could crop up the next day.

Generally, once each week.

I drink a protein shake before I leave work along with a large glass of water. It helps me feel full and gives me the extra push I need to go the extra mile during my workout.

Yes. I like it as an early morning boost in addition to other strength training.

Moderation on food and drink will help. Enjoy yourself!

I go to Big Lots for Melba Toast, Diet Cranberry, Protein Bars, Vitamins, etc. You never know what you will find there, but it's worth a look if you have one in your area.

You got it! Just keep drinking lots of water due to the heat up there so you don't get dehydrated! I live in OKC and am always happy to support a fellow Oklahoman! JP

I'm at 1200 but definitely eat my exercise calories so it varies from day to day. If you can eat fresh foods, fish, and fill in with protein shakes (ie. EAS Advantage low carb series) you can stay under the 1200. I usually try to eat 3-300 calorie meals and two snacks at 100-150 calories if I'm not exercising. The summer…

We have a home gym but I added a few extra things that I like. Bosu ball, resistance bands, 65cm balance ball, kettle bells, arm and leg weights, yoga block, yoga mat, weighted balls 6-10 lbs. I have lots of DVDs but my favorite are: Insanity, Slim in Six, P90X, 30 Day Shred, Iron Yoga, and Tracy Anderson's Design Series.

Because it is a milestone!! Today is my 50th birthday and I vowed to look better than I did at 40. You can count on me for encouragement to reach your goal!!

Enjoy yourself! You can pick it back up when you return.

Try Tracy Anderson's Perfect Design Series. At least buy her book. It's a lean body workout.

You are doing great! You have great goals and motivation! Don't let the number on the scale deter you!

Hilarious AND great advice!

Drink 16 oz of water before you go, plus chug another 8 oz of warm water with the juice of one lemon. It will make you feel full and the lemon water will curb your appetite.

Try Zumba classes! It is fun, you meet lots of great people, and it's a party atmosphere! Go to zumba.com to find a class in your area.

I have done Insanity and P90X and will probably try Turbofire in the fall. I would suggest watching the first DVD of each and then decide what you are more comfortable with. Don't feel like you need to conquer it all immediately either! Even people who work out all of the time struggle with some of the exercises. Just do…
