I try on my swimsuit when I'm getting ready for bed and do the math until our next lake or beach outing. This motivates me to set out my workout clothes and set the alarm!

I have worked out at home for the last 8 years. I get up and get it done! I have a huge library of DVD's and plan workout routines in advance so I don't have an excuse to opt out. However, I still keep a gym membership for my yoga classes and boot camps in case I want some variety and new ideas.

Try an apple or celery with peanut butter for a snack. Greek yogurt with almonds. Avocados are great for salads as well as almonds and chicken. Protein powder with fruit, yogurt, peanut butter, etc.

It's hot here too! When I'm not wearing suits and bras and demure tops to work, I wear lots of cleavage baring tops. My husband loves it (he bought most of them for me) and his opinion is the one that matters most to me.

We have a cleaning lady, but split the laundry (him) and the cooking (me). The tidying is not an issue, because we both throw away anything laying out for more than a day!

We have a home gym and my best (and least expensive) purchase so far was a set of bands with grips that I use for resistance training. Very economical if you buy them on Amazon.com. I got a $100 set for $30 and you can work every muscle group.

I'm doing Ripped in 30, but I only do every other day due to some recent surgery and pacing myself. It is intense, but listening to your body is a good thing. If you need to stop and rest, do it! It's great to push yourself and your limits, but you know your body better than anyone. Consistency is key.
