I am hovering around 168 on maintenance which is the top of the range but I feel its about right for me - maybe half a stone at most less.... you can already see a well defined collarbone  I am big boned though - have to wear a mans watch strap even with the weight loss. I may lose some more if (IF!) some of my…

Loss of favourite shoes is my surprise issue too - gone from a 9(UK) to a 7(UK) and width reduction too...... never expected that

After about 28lb I noticed my muffin top was going - i had lost inches but it takes a while for that stubborn fat to go! Now I have as flat a stomach as 3 pregnancies and 25 years of obesity is going to let me and no muffin top at all at the sides, nope not even when I sit down. Thank you for making me appreciate my weight…

The nurse clinician said she wanted to take me into the surgery waiting room and say - this! She was so impressed (not seen me for a while) it was a tad embarrasing - but quite nice!

This! I have done overarm lifts for 9 months and my biceps look good but the bat wings still flap (though maybe only a breeze rather than a gale!). I walk quite a bit but my upper thighs are not for view, though its good to have a thigh gap of sorts and as for my abdomen .... after three pregnancies in three years (23-26…

It is hard - and after 2 years of logging every day it doesn't get easier but it does become habit. If you can make this a habit rather than a magic number to reach and then sigh a huge sigh of relief, you will not only reach your goals but maintain them.

Health issues getting a bit scary - asthma, blood pressure, joints.... And to look better and not so mumsy! I am not old enough for mumsy yet!

It sounds counterproductive I know, but you seem to be eating too little for the amount of exercise you do. Perhaps increase calories to 1400 and see how you go? Eating too little messes up your metabolism just as quick as eating too much :)

I am still logging, but not with the enthusiasm i had even 6 mths ago. It is part of my routine, I still weigh everything too. But i can feel that sense of achievement drifting away as this becomes normal.... Perhaps I am addicted to the thrill of losing - I have read and contributed to other threads where that is…

Me too..... I have only just lost the weight I gained through my three pregnancies - and my youngest is 22!!! I piled it on for all of them and didnt lose it afterwards and the cumulative effect stayed for 20 years. I am finally back to pre pregnancy weight but I should have done it years ago......... but hey I've done it…

Yada yada but can i remind you all again that its not just by drinking water that you get water into your body...... food, other drinks - they all count so don'f forget these when you are calculating how much to drink. And don't tell me that coffee and tea don't count - i have asked a MEDICAL person and they do, so I am…

Salty - cheese and onion crisps - especially Walkers Sensations......... Sweet - Dairy Milk chocolate I wants some now :grumble:

Add me! I log everyday and try to comment as much as my silly life will let me :)

I think calling the OP obsessive is a bit harsh - we all have been on this weight loss journey a while and it takes time for us to move out of 'losing' mode and into 'maintaining' mode when we finally reach that elusive goal. I still weigh and log everyday, in the sure knowledge that I will go up and down in both lbs and…

nearly 49 here :)

eating a couple of boiled sweets is nothing to be ashamed of not logging - and if you were suffering from low blood sugar were an excellent thing to eat. I feel dizzy if I have not eaten for a few hours, and I am not diabetic or pregnant :) Sometimes our bodies just tell us what it needs by making us feel crap - we need to…
