Don't worry! We will forgive you this time! We all get at least one "pass". But now you're here! So rock it! (This includes the rest of you Yellow folk!) Hope you're all having a great week.

HEY Yellow Friends! Hope you all sent in your initial weights! I'm so pleased that this week I'm down 3.6lbs. It's the first time in a long time that I can say I've lost. Usually it moves in the other direction! Yay!

A familiar face! Nice to see you on this team Commit1440 Our Yellow team is looking strong already! I haven't set a goal yet either. Just getting my head back in the game and moving in the right direction for now. I'll set up some concrete goals later!

Good morning Yellow is my favorite color! (for the next 10 weeks). I've had a few set backs and have gained a bit of my 40lbs back, but I feel like I'm back in control, mostly. Looking forward to meeting you guys. I'm from Canada so get use to me complaining about the weather.

I'd like to try a little harder this time. I need your support! Let me in!!!! (If there's room)

Made my walking goals.... barely! What a crazy week of vacation. It was hard to fit it all in. Glad to be back to routine.

LOL @ bonus points!

Thanks to everyone for the support, especially about the "doctor modified" goals. So my three runs will be out for the next two weeks (min). I thought it would be good to think about my modified goal: 4 - 30 min (minimum) dog walks (same as previous goals) 2 - 40+ min walk 1 - 5 km walk I may change up 1 or 2 of the dog…

If I order two can I cut the time in half?

Pleased to say that I got all 4 walks and all three runs in this week! In fact, I couldn't do my 5km on the weekend so I moved it to this morning. The only reason I didn't put it off at 5am was that I wanted to meet these RAWR goals. I've been trying to get this hip pain in order, and today the dr told me to stop running…

I'm saving the Pedicure for after the new socks!!

Ok... I've been hesitating to announce that I've graduated. I guess I'm just not that confident. But, I think I have. I did my third 5km run this morning. Including the warm up / cool down walks it took me 54mins. It's a long time, but it's mine. And a great place to start. I have signed up for a run in June. My goal is to…

I'm having a hard time deciding between two goals. I think I'll choose something a little easier for me because I'm trying to work out the pain in my hips. I've been slacking a bit on my runs and putting them off (a day here or there) Goal: 3 runs per week AND 4 walks. Specifically: two 3km runs, one 5km run AND 4 dog…

Week 5 is awesome! And it only gets better (from someone who only started week 7 today)
-
A few days late but I started W7 today. I was worried but it ended up being a relatively easy run. I'm discouraged on my nutrition though. I can't seem to stay on track. No matter how much I work, I won't be outrunning my fork.

Week 6 is complete! I had a slow pace but strong run this morning. It's only 2.7km but I'm proud of each one. This is all on the treadmill, which I think helps a lot with keeping a solid pace. I'm nervous about getting outside and moving. But we will have to come out of this deep freeze before that happens. On to Week 7!

Week 6 Day 2 complete. It's weird to think that from now on, there are no walking breaks. It's a little milestone. By the end of March I'll be running the 30 mins! Hard to believe.
-
Completed W5D2 this morning. A slower pace and focus on keeping my posture vertical but no pain in the hind quarters. Dreading the big W5D3 on Saturday, but.... it's got to be done!
-
Happy to report that I had no bum pain on my run this morning. (Hip and knee pain, but let's tackle one thing at a time). I've spent lots of time stretching the last couple of days, and did a good stretch afterwards. I also slowed my run down a bit. It helped a lot. I haven't done any squats, bridges or planks.... yet. But…

I've been trying to get through all the "important why" stuff. I just have so little time to read. THANKS! I'll skip! I haven't been stretching after I run, so... pretty sure I can improve there. I iced for the first time after the gym last night. Felt, cold. But, good. Last night I hopped on the Elliptical hoping to…

I got the FitBit Flex for Christmas. I probably wouldn't have bought one myself. But as a gift. Cool. It's really more for fun than anything else. I don't see it causing me to lose more weight. But, on the other hand I did hop on the treadmill last night (when I would have stayed on the couch) when I realized that I hadn't…

I had completed Week 7 and was struggling (about 3 weeks ago) when I got a back injury and the winter Asthma kicked in! I haven't ran in three weeks and feel so sad/discouraged for it. My 5km is scheduled for January 1st. It doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. But I'm determined not to give it up. Once the back is…
