Back to the bum injury
This is my second stab at C25K. Last fall I reached week 6 and got a back injury and pain down my left side (under my butt). Well, I've made it to week 5 and today's run resulted in that same pain. Not quiet as bad, but still there. I have the best shoes my money can buy but I'm not sure what else to do. I'm currently…

Back for round two
I had to drop the running about 2 months ago for a back injury. I'm better (mostly) and I'm back for round two. Started Week 1 this week. I think it will be a little easier on the treadmill I got for Christmas. Here's hoping I can make it to the end this time!

C25K - Zombies, Run Transition
I'm in Week 6 of C25K and I have been thinking about getting the Zombies, Run! app. Can anyone tell me, with Zombies, Run! do I have to start from Week 1 all over again? Can I start the story / training at week 6 where I've left off?

Doesn't that mean I should be lying on the sofa complaining about muscles I didn't know I had? Yes, I've been following a solid…

Cold Weather Exercise
I'm feeling motivated and eager with my current exercise. I walk with my dog at least twice a day and she is the motivation I need to get moving. I have spent most of the summer biking with her but now that the cold weather is here, I'm feeling less excited about being out. My toes and fingers are cold... and honestly,…

Fitness Apps
I'm a tech geek. Just wondering what others are using to track their fitness. I'm trying to figure out which I like best.

Where to start?
Well... start might not be the right word. I've been here and floating around for almost two months. I'm pleased with my results. I've been eating well and tracking using myfitnesspal. I've been walking twice a day and tracking using the Nike iPhone app. And I'm trying to make a more active lifestyle change for my kids and…
