Eating back my calories, sometimes I'm starving and need to eat them. Sometimes I don't. I guess by your post it really depends on the person. When I log something after 12am, I feel guilty if I log it for the next day..I feel like my body doesn't know it's the next day, neither should MFP. But I'm a newbie so my questions…

My goal is 1600 as well. I would love to lose a pound a week but I'm not as heavy so the weight does not come off easily. My BMR is 1476. My TDEE is somewhere around 2200. So 1600 with or without exercise, I should lose something.
-
Anyone!? I'd love to hear some advice and input.
-
I agree 120% with the above comment. Great advice and everyone should read it because most people don't know what BMR or TDEE even is. They think just because MFP sets the goal for them that it MUST be correct.

The one that I have seen work is Quick Trim (purple box by Kim Kardashian and them). My friend takes it according to the instructions, plus walks when she can (she has 4 small children), and she has lost a good 40 lbs. She's kept the weight off. She's Bosnian like I am and eats the fatty but yummy Bosnian food, so I know…

Ok I set the goal for 1600..lol That is above my BMR and below my TDEE. Thanks girls.
-
To lose a healthy pound I need to net somewhere around 1300, but you should never eat below your BMR because you will go into starvation mode and your body will hang on to those calories..My BMR is 1476.

My slope is between 13-15 (15 being the highest) and the speed is always 3.5-3.9...fast walking.
-
I walk on the highest slope at fast walking speed. But maybe..thanks. I have another stupid question..My BMR is 1476...my TDEE is 2280 something..take off 300-500 calories off the TDEE is what I should net for my calories...so I stay in the 1700-1900 range. Now, why is it when I complete my food diary and it tells me what…

By the way, very happy today. Bought a kitchen scale. :)
-
I have it bookmarked just in case I need to go back to it. And I've commented on it. I have one as well but it was for my study abroad..and now it's used for my rants about exercising and diet. lol

Thank you so much, Ani. I really don't have a lot of support. My friends just don't understand this but they are all mostly skinny, so of course they wouldn't. They've never had to work for anything a day in their life, while life is slowly trying to kick my butt. I'm determined though. It's been two weeks only and I feel…

By the way, your blog=amazing! :) Thanks

I do eat my burned calories just because I've heard that I have to. Often times I am not really that hungry, but I get a little snack just to be able to eat some of those calories back and sometimes I'm freaking starving and eat them all back. I will have this eventually figured out. lol
-
Thank you all so much. I have a LOT to learn still. Exercise is going ok so far. There are days I want to be lazy, but I am determined not to be!
-
This makes sense..thank you!!! :)So eating above the BMR and below TDEE or netting above it and below?
-
FIgured it out. Calorie intake changed. Hopefully, I start seeing results soon.
-
Thank you all. This actually makes more sense now. LIke I said before I am green. With a capital G. :) So I will definitely increase my calorie intake to my BMR, and start there.
-
No one? Seriously!? C'mon, enlighten me folks. I feel so retarded when it comes to these things.
-
Anyone?
-
Those who posted to actually let me know an answer to such a blond-headed question (no I'm not one)..thanks again!!! Others, one day when you have a stupid question, you ask it and get that O_o from people, remember this moment lol. :)

Thank you all very much. I thought that was it, but didn't want to be wrong. :) Happy losing! :)
