Hopefully at my target weight and maintaining. I have decided that I am going to stay on MFP even when I reach my target.....that way I won't fall back into bad habits:-)

Well I DID IT....It was cloudy and overcast all morning and then the sun peeped out so I thought....here goes get out and walk. Within about 2 minutes it was raining but I kept going and walked for 32 minutes. I had to wear a rain jacket so that made me sweat and I smelt like a sewer when I got home....still a nice shower…

Tell yourself that the weekend is not any different to any other day. I made myself go for a walk today....even though it started to rain as soon as I started to walk!!! It's sometimes mind over matter and if you don't mind then the weekend don't matter. :-)

Thanks peeps. Truly Gifted is a gorgeous craft shop and gallery run by a friend of mine. It is an amazing shop full of beautiful things all individually hand crafted. I have some of my knitwear in there. :-)

I just LOVE it when someone notices that I have lost weight. I am doing this for me but sometimes we can't see what's staring us in the face. As we see ourselves every day 7 or 8 pounds doesn't look much different in the mirror, but when someone sees you after a space of time the difference looks huge to them.

Welcome....and 61 is NOT too late. I am 65 and I'm on a mission. By next summer I intend to be size NORMAL and a sensible weight. I also want to bring my BMI in under 25. When I joined here last week I was given a 1200 calorie per day allowance.

Last December I was just about able to walk 50 yards before my back used to hurt to the point where I was almost in tears. I can now walk a mile and a half before the pain kicks in....so it's working!!

Well maybe not the dryer, but you'll have to take the washing machine back when it starts stretching all your clothes in the wash!!

Thanks peeps.....try carrying around something that weight what you have lost....while it is still possible!! you won't carry it for long....it will really remind you of how great you're doing

I just love it when I meet someone I haven't seen for a couple of weeks and they have to look twice to be sure it is me. That's motivation!!

Never let nasty people get to you.......if you do you let them win their stupid little mind games. She must have a very empty life and maybe her weight is from substituting food for the rest of her miserable existance.
