  • Jeff Galloway has some great books with training programs in them. He uses a run walk run system and has specifics on what you do each day based on your goal time and current abilities. His books are available online, on ebay, and maybe at the public library. Good luck on your 5k.

  • Day 49?! Wow, that is impressive! Do you ever get tired of doing the same videos over and over? And what about being sore after so many workouts? I took a break after just 2 days so that my body could heal and get over this cold I have been fighting. Today I will start it up again and take it one workout at a time.

  • I think it's important to have rest days in the mix. Jillian even says to take at least 1 rest day each week (see http://www.justjared.com/2012/01/06/jillian-michaels-take-a-day-off-from-the-gym/). This is so your muscles have time to rebuild and get stronger :)
