Moving. And welcome (back).

Absolute greatness. Laughed throughout that read.

I just quickly looked at your intake for the last month. You have a few 1800+ calorie days but many days with much less. So your average intake is actually closer to 1500 for the last month (rough guess). Are you weighing and measuring food? Are you logging everything? It is difficult to know how to make adjustments if the…

I have been a chronic over eater (sometimes binge eater) most of my life. I am still trying to work through this and improve, but here are some things that have helped me recently. 1. Process before indulging. Am I really hungry? Or is this just habit, comfort, stress eating? 2. Increasing my calories to a slight deficit.…

Lot of variables here that are not addressed, but, taken at face value... 1. A month is usually not nearly long enough to cause any metabolic damage 2. It's important to have an exit strategy for deficit eating (reverse dieting, for example). 3. What worked for your friend may not work for you in the long term. 4. Why not…

^This. I have done ESE. I did lose weight but was miserable for several hours on the fast day. It could be a protocol that just clicks for you. But there is nothing inherent about it that will make you lose weight more or less than anything else.

Legendary! Working with SS was a game changer for me. Thanks OP and SS!

OP is so jacked an tan I am IN!

This. Or. If you are really not losing on 1200 calories, there is a bigger issue that you need to address rather than sinking farther down the rabbit hole.

Great article. It is interesting to read the responses and see how people interpret the piece based on their own context. "No one gives a **** if you have abs." truth bullet

Thanks for posting this, Ben.

I have and am dealing with an RC issue. I find bands to be helpful for warming up the RC. Unfortunately, incline pressing can put your shoulder/RC in a compromising position. I love inclines but this is what aggravated my injury.

I dunno. Might have to look into this rope jogging.

Another +1 for these. I have been using them for 3 years. Great sound. Very comfy. Very secure. However, I am currently shopping for bluetooth headphones. Just tired of the wire when working out.

Yes. Most days. I took a 2 month break from logging my food, and it was really a stress relief for me. May not be for everyone but something to consider.

All the time. However, my overeating days are usually not planned. :embarassed:

I do not like relaxed fit or baggy jeans, so it is an effort to find something that works. My most worn pair lately is just a pair of Levi 514s. A 31 inch waist is a little roomy. The thighs are snug but fairly comfortable. Can't go to 32s or 30s. Don't want to try on 73 pair of jeans, so...yea.. This might be your answer.…

What are you using, other than the scales, to measure progress?
-
Pffft..Trick question! Not falling for that one.

ATX here.. Arlington, not Austin sadly. Feel free to add.

Yes. That sums it up. However, we are all human. I get annoyed at others' appearance from time to time. People have a right to look how they want, so it is my issue, my silliness that it is bothersome. When I see fat people at work with plates piled up on donut day I want to tell them to stop it. But it is their right to…
