If your primary goal is strength, then you would probably want to eat at maintenance or bulk no matter what your current BF% is. However, it seems like your primary goal is appearance. Like a couple have mentioned, I would definitely get below 15% before thinking about it. Maybe start reversing around 12%. You should still…

I enjoy Quest bars so much I had to stop buying them..at least while cutting.

Mike O'Hearn Jon Andersen Stan Efferding Dan Green.. The list could go on and on. More and more crossover these days between physique/BB and strength/PL. Yes, the training emphasis is different, but I don't think it has to be one or the other..

Scene: College baseball game with buddies a month ago. Big cooler full of ice and beer. 2 of my friends sloshing it around trying to get it down the steps to our seats. I know I can deadlift a lot more than that cooler. I pick up the cooler, walk it down the steps and across the aisle to our chairs. Baseball and beer.…

It's all about the in and out.

I love deadlifts. I am actually still working on my form as well. That said, unless you are planning on competing in a PL competition, they are certainly not necessary. You can get the posterior chain firing from a myriad of different movements (many already mentioned). People that are into the 3 big lifts love to use…

What is the statute of limitations for..... never mind.

If you are actually 132 lbs overweight, then dropping 50 in 80 is feasible. Not advisable (don't fall for The Biggest Loser Protocol) but totally possible.

Just tremendous, Kristin.

No. Strict nutrient timing is vastly overrated. Hit your calories and macros for the day, results will follow. The timing should be whatever you prefer in terms of adherence and performance.

Yep. I was adding stevia to my Fage 0%. That was fine. I decided to try adding my vanilla whey powder one day. When I first started to stir it in I thought it was going to be a powdery, clumpy pile of fail. But I kept mixing and it turned into a nice creamy texture with the vanilla flavor of the whey. Also add some berries…

I logged everything in MFP for nearly 2 years. I have not been logging for the last 6 weeks. I have been maintaining (losing a little). Logging everything for an extended period of time gave me the knowledge to not log. No real trick to it.

What are your goals? Is your current protocol moving you towards your goals? What do you enjoy doing in terms of leg lifts?

I love the idea of people.

Yea, those of us that know what is going on. I hear ya, brah. :noway:

Plenty of calories left over on 1200? Ok, that is another issue. Anyway, the idea is to hit your calorie and macro targets (on average), not stay below them. The content of what makes up those calories should be what you prefer and/or works best for you.

I do not have MS but my mom was diagnosed about 10 years ago. I can speak a little about how it has impacted her life. She is still somewhat functional but has definitely lost a lot of get up and go. Many days spent at home and even in bed. So, needless to say, her physical capacity has been significantly diminished. The…

Unforgiven has a special place in my heart simply because Clint gets drunk and kills everyone.
