I will be doing the same and my birthday is half way in between. I am going to be good this year and not let 6 weeks of events take me down.

I'm there with you. I did really well until recently. I have been doing Strength training since Jan and need to really work with my diet. I know it'll do me so much better to get myself under control before the holidays.

I'm a mom of three girls. I'm trying to lose weight and in a positive way so I don't start conversations with my daughters about dieting and non-body positivity. It's honestly a hard conversation to say I'm on a diet, but only to be healthy not because I want to be 30 pounds lighter.

This is the disappointing thing about sizes in the US. My sister and I went on the weight loss journey together and we were 5 lbs, 165 and 170 difference between us with her being 5'6" and I'm 5'5". She was a size 10/12 and I was more a size 6/8. I worked out a little more than she did and I don't know if that made the…

Awesome! I agree, very inspirational!

Most people life hasn't changed and I feel the exact opposite. I like my office because I can't get food other than what I bring. My husband buys a ton of junk and I fall prey to it 100%. I have what I call control self control. I can do it when I pack lunch, but it just being in front of me is so hard! 1. I'm still trying…

Try to make small changes first. Also, take it one day at a time. Replace one meal with just meat and veggies then see if you can do another. See if you can meal prep one week to help with the changes. Healthy is very subjective though. What are you looking to do? If you are looking to lose weight you can literally have…

I had a great quote that went, "It's a long journey and giving up now won't speed it up." Do you have rewards set up when you hit certain points? I did that last year and it really helped. My husband started changing them and I realized it messed with my motivation. We are all different and if you find your reward I think…

I started this for the wedding weight I wanted to lose. Didn't do it. Then got pregnant and thought ok lose the baby weight, didn't do it. Two more pregnancies later and we took family picture in Nov. 2018. I got them back and I couldn't STAND looking at myself in them. I decided it was time to change. I started a diet…

I've done this for the last two weeks. I've gained 4 lbs, but the only thing I can do is get back on track, up my water to try and flush things out, and re-motivate myself! You can too!

I sent you a request. I have a 6, 4 and 11 month old. I started in Jan again and lost 45 so far. I still have 25 lbs to go. It's been tough recently so I need encouragement!

I third the chart. Two weeks is still really new. You should try to take up your water consumption. Helped me a ton. I am doing at least 80 oz of water a day. Plain water. At first, it was a little difficult now it's a breeze. As others have said there could be many factors, but giving it more time will help. One day…

1. Meal prep. It honestly was the biggest thing when it came to success. I knew my portions. Wouldn't try to eat more and I knew if I had wiggle room or not. I would skip something if I knew there was cake at work and even then I would take a WAY smaller slice then I normally would. 2. Seeing food as a need and not a want.…
