I love following your journey! You look super pumped in your after pic! LOVE IT!

Your right it wasn't. It's just frustrating to try to help out fellow vegans to have meat balls thrown at you....or in this case meat strips.

Love tempeh bacon!! Don't love loser comments.

There had to be one of these.....sigh.

beans, nuts, nut butters, lentils, tofu, seeds, kale, quinoa, tempeh, seitan, leafy greens, broccoli.....

If you start that low there is really no way to keep cutting back. You need to eat at least your BMR.

If you are trying to loose weight it's because you were eating way more than 1200 a day to put the weight on. Add more of what you were eating before starting to try to loose weight. Calorie dense but try to pick healthy choices like others said like nut butters, beans, avocados, whole grains. Add nuts and fruit to your…

I don't even like donuts but I clicked on this thread to see what it was all about and a dunkin donut coupon banner showed up at the top of the thread where the ad usually is. lol Advertising at it's finest.

I thought I was a neutral runner too based on my footstep. Come to find out after getting tendinitis in my PT tendon my foot collapses and rolls in when I run. I would really recommend going to the running store too before investing a lot of money in the wrong pair of shoes for your feet and possible risking injury.…

There is a fitness test in the beginning to see what fitness level you are at. The workouts gradually get harder and you get another fitness test after 10 workouts or so. She'll ask you during the workout if you thought that portion was too easy or difficult and it will adjust the workout based on your answers. I really…

I really love Gold's Gym Cardio boxing, EA Active 2 and my fitness coach.

bump for later. I just starting that this week to see what happens.

I really loved my recumbent. I bought it after an ankle injury and havent regretted it. I like the wider seat.

I just started level 3 yesterday. It was INTENSE! I started doing it everyday but my knees were getting sore. I switched to a couple days on and a day off. I just do cardio on rest days. Everyday was too much for me but just listen to your body. I can really see results, especially in my ab area...I'm starting to see them!…

I'm trying this out for the first time this week. 20% off moderate tdee gave me 1700. Hoping it works! I usually work out 5 days a week for 45 - 55 minutes. Fingers crossed!

Or a breakfast burrito with beans, salsa and roasted potatoes and veggies. This isn't for me but maybe for you: http://kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/2011/11/salad-for-breakfast-green-your-am.html [/quote] You had me at breakfast burrito....that sounds awesome! lol I like to make a breakfast bruschetta recipe that I got from the…

Goal is a toned 140 but I'm getting tired of trying to loose the last 5 or so lbs! They just aren't coming off as easily as the rest did in the beginning. I just keep trying!!

I'm on Level 2. Just listen to your body and take breaks where you need to. It's an awesome workout for less than 30 minutes. I'm going to recommend a rest day every now and then and not try to do the 30 days straight. My knees got sore in level one and I did it straight through. I am taking rest days in level 2 and I feel…

Not sure how far you are willing to change your diet but I would recommend checking out Forks over Knives or the Engine 2 diet. There are many people that have had great success in lowering cholesterol and getting off their medications.

Just start with one meal at a time. If you try to look at the larger picture it becomes overwhelming. Focus on one meal and go from there. Happy Herbivore is a great site and she offers weekly meal plans complete with a shopping list and recipes. That might be a good place to start. Add me if you want, I have an open…

Level 1 ended up giving me knee pain. I think it's the side lunges and having your feet out straight instead of on an angle that does it but I'm not sure. Now that I'm on Level 2 my knees feel way better.

I went vegan cold turkey about this time last year although sometimes dairy has a way of sneaking back in once in a while, mostly in chocolate form. Feel free to add me. I use Happy Herbivore recipes on almost a daily basis. They are quick, easy and usually pretty darn tasty. My family hasn't made the switch with me as of…

Is it just supposed to be done 5 days a week? I can't find an answer about how to do the program. A lot of people say 30 days straight...some say 6 days on one day off....and other variations. I just finished day 10 of level one, 10 days straight and I really feel like there should be rest days.
