HI I'm Shinjite. I have about 80 lbs to get rid of so I know I have several rounds to go. I am hoping I enjoy Insanity although I am sure it will totally kick my butt at least at the beginning. Let's cheer each other on!

Maybe you need to switch to another kind of diet. What you are binging on are carbs so apparently the low carb diet is getting to you. Maybe consider a diet where you gradually reduce the carbs so these episodes do not occur.

What you see in the mirror is what is focused in your thoughts. Maybe you need to work on accepting yourself and really accepting the effort you have put in. Also, try another method of validating your loss until you get better at really seeing yourself - like photos or something.

If you want to watch from laptop to tv often just buy a box that you can hook them both up - the last time I bought one it was around $25 at best buy. If your laptop has a S-video port you can try that too.

I am so not ready. I have been doing some low impact cardio to try to get in shape and a lot of stretching but still know Insanity is really going to kick my butt and that I will have to do a lot of modifying. I bought 3 spare inhalers yesterdays so at least I am prepared for any asthma attacks lol. I have already accepted…

Baked sweet potato chips. I thought they would be healthy since they are baked and not fried. The bag said no additives so should be really low cal right? Wrong. A 10 oz bag - about 6 servings - 5 chips per servings and 200 cals. The chips were not thick either - about the same as regular potato chips. ANd it was super…

I did a 32 day juicing to help with stomach issues last year. It worked well for me. I exercised the whole time without any problems. Just could not go from sitting to standing fast as I would get a little lightheaded. That happened the first week then it went away. I did not count calories as it was hard for me to drink…

I can't believe how many people got resuts with running. When I did C25K I did not lose much about 3 pounds over the whole 12 weeks it took me last time and I did not even drop a size. What has worked is Yoga. And Tabata workouts. Although I am going to give Insanity a try come October 1.

Being a vegetarian or vegan does not automatically mean you need supplements. If you are concerned get a blood panel done and it will tell you what you are lacking. I am a vegan and the only thing I lack is iron and that is totally unrelated to veganism. The only supplement I take is Vitamineral Green and Vitamineral earth…

You can do stretching or gentle yoga. It might not feel like exercise but it does the job and really tones you up and increase flexibility.

Hands down the pink one wins. You look good in all three but really amazing in the pink.

If I exercise in the evening it makes me hungrier but in the morning it curbs my appetite. Also, what you have to eat post workout makes a difference.

Darn it. I just found out I have to be at a conference October 9-13. That totally throws a wrench in my plans. I plan to take the dvds. I hope They have a player as my little portable is too small to see the screen.

I am doing Zumba, Kundalini Yoga and some Walking. Was looking at the Insanity tapes last night and it made me wonder what the heck made me want to try it - a moment of Insanity mayhaps? lol

Ignore the scale. Building muscle weighs more. Plus sometimes you build muscle while the fat has not burned off yet. A few years ago I began a resistance training routine and was shocked to realize that the scale had upped by almost 20 lbs while I went down 2 dress sizes. Then almost overnight I had a 30lb drop. Go by the…

I am a vegan and it is hard being one. Fruits and vegetables cost more than anything else around here. ANd my appetite is small. I have no excess in my budget. After mortgage and insurance and gas food becomes a luxury. I spent the whole summer with no AC at home nor in my car and I live in South Florida. I have not eaten…

Are you doing a split day (like 18/6) or a split week like 5/2? Whether you break your fast or not depends on the program you choose to follow and the amount of calories you consume with the coffee with cream drinks.

Try ebay and try googling it, also try collage video

WOW! You look amazing. Is that from just Insanity or did you have to make dietary changes?

You look hot mama! Way to go!

Giving oneself fasting days is a way to take control For me lack of eating did not make me thin. It made me fat. Allowing myself to not eat for 19 hours and knowing I need to eat during 5 is a lot less stressful than feeling that I have to eat x amount all through the day. I am actually eating more consistently now then…

For weight loss faster run, shorter time i.e sprints is better it is the equivalent of HIIT, for overall health slower and longer is purported to be better. It ultimately depends on your running goals whether you want to be endurance ( slower/longer) or stamina (faster/shorter0

Cayenne is good. You can also try black or white pepper. Those all taste good with almond cheese. You could also try jalapeno if you prefer something living/whole.

Week 6 took me 3 weeks to complete the first time I did C25K and I was only running at 3.5. My heartrate monitor was beeping like mad - so embarassing. I had to slow it down to 3.0 for a weeka nd then gradually work back up to 3.5.You don't have to do it in 9 weeks. The only person you are running with is yourself, If you…

Don't feel embarrassed. He definitely did not mean anything personal nor insulting based on what you said. I remember asking my brother to borrow a dress shirt and telling him I wore an 8 ( this was a while back lol) and him telling me he would have to take me to the kiddies aisle at a store because a size 8 was for…

"zero calories" does not mean no calories at all. It means zero calories in the packet you are consuming. Meaning that 1 packet might be 0 cals but 2 packet together might be 1.99 calories because food companies do not count anything lower than a full calories. At least that is what a food scientist I met told me.

That is tremendously wrong. For the last several years I have been gaining weight. I am a vegan and it made me concerned. I spoke to the doctor I had at the time about it and he said "eat less", So I did. I gained more weight. I kept complaining so he sent me to a nutritionist who spent more time telling me to go back to…
