I am in for 145 miles for April. This is solely a total of the training walks that I have scheduled, so there may be more if I fit in extra walks. There is no swaying from the plan now. The walk is just 2 months away!!!!

Oh, tammykoon!!! I would have paid to see that!!! LOL Thank you for the info. I'm goig to try limiting some of the foods that contain Red 40 and see if it helps my son.

3 miles walked on Monday My son (8 years old) was suspended for two days and it has been such a downer. It 's a long story that that is an ongoing struggle for him, but it really messed me up the past couple of days. The 3 miles I walked on Monday did absolutely nothing to help me calm down that day. I couldn't walk it out…

10 Mile training walk with my oldest son!! We both survived it!!! He is so dying to walk the 2-Day Avon Walk with me, but he is only 13 and you have to be 16. I tell him by the time he turns 16, we'll be able to walk circles around all of the other walkers!!!!

Ok, I'm in for 200 again. I know I haven't been making my goals, but I refuse to lower them. I am absolutely capable of making this goal, especially when I look at last years numbers. 12.6 miles biked I let my self fall off too much this past year so I have to get back to those high numbers like I had this time last year!!! All I have to do is look at the tables to see how much my numbers have damn near disappeared. No more!!!! Good job everyone!!!!

My official time for my first 5K run was 39 mins 31 secs and I came in 639 out of 747 runners!!!! Not too shabby :) I only stopped to walk for 0.3 miles, but was able to make it the remainder of the distance running. We also sprinted the last stretch and it felt amazing!!!!! 3.32 miles running/walking today. I ran for 2.3 of those miles and only walked for one!!!! It was very refreshing. I thought for sure that I would walk more than I ran. Turkey Trot 5K run in 14 days!!!

I know I'm late, but please put me in for 40 miles again this month. The bigger mileages will start agin in December as I start my training for the 2 Day Avon Walk again :bigsmile:

Ran outdoors for the first time!!!! It wasn't too bad. It almost went bny too quickly (I was on my lunch and we only get 30 mins). Anywho, I put in 1.74 miles (with a smidge of walking :blushing: ) and was done in 24 mins. I have my first 5k RUN on Nov. 20th and I have definitely not trained the way I should have been. Oh…
