You're 49 not 89...Insanity is a hard workout and more depends on your fitness level then your age. There are people I work with in their 50s who do it regularly. You're only as young as you feel...age is just a number.

If you do weigh in every day do it at the same time. You body can gain up to two pounds in a day with food and water.

Healthy protein is good for you. I am well over the 100g in a day at about 30-40g per meal. It keeps you full longer and gives you energy.

I prefer to exercise in the morning just to get it over with since evenings are so busy....however I'm up at 5am for work and cannot get up any earlier. Morning workouts are a weekend thing.
