like the person above is alluding to, if you have a 500 cal deficit - you can eat 500cals over your limit and still not gain.
-
what makes you think it puts you back into maintenance? you're already at a deficit you can eat them. though most things overestimate calories burnt so i usually eat half of them back i've lost 8kg (18lb) in two months

As far as I know, it will lower your heart rate for exercise so your HRM won't work. If your HR is normally 150bpm with exercise then with the beta blocker it will stay below 100. You'll have to use another method of estimating your calories. Source: I'm a physiotherapist and did a pharmacology paper where we took a beta…

my personal trainer says that processed food is stored quicker than unprocessed food. he eats paleolithic. i could never do that.

though some people say that MFP overestimates how many calories you burn during exercise.... so aim for goal and then about 1/2-3/4's of the exercise ones. word on the street.

Often the parents won't know. They'll wear something else and take it off to reveal the new outfit when out of parents sight. People who don't have teenagers and say they will be different have a lot to learn hahaha.

word on the street: you already have a deficit built into mfp, so if you do exercise you are earning more to eat. but mfp overestimates how many calories you've burnt so some people recommend eating half to 3/4's rather than all of them back. if you dont eat back some exercise calories then essentially you're running on…

stairs are definitely difficult. but they are AWESOME at getting you fit so well done for doing it. i run up and down stairs for 5mins with a 10kg weightbag on my shoulders and do 5 squats at bottom and 5 squats at top. as half of it is going down and half is going up, i'm not sure if it equivalent, but that gets me beat!

i dont know if it has already been said, but complex foods use more energy by your body to digest them so you actually burn calories eating it. whereas refined things (like the cake) dont take much energy to digest. i dont really know what you mean by pocket so not sure if this applies.

ps. you could try just going to sleep? thats what i usually do

I have over-eating days when it is a friend/family member's birthday or if I am going out with friends (only happens like once every 1-2months) Apart from that I sometimes eat bad options occasionally just to keep me sane. I think it helps keep you on the band wagon if you know you arent cutting things out completely. But…
