Wow. Seems like eggs are quite the popular thing. I'm making 3 for my preworkout meal!
-
Very intriguing. Thanks!

I swear you can't listen to doctors these days...looks like I see more eggs in my future :)
-
Haha great feedback. I also love how there's so many bacon lovers out there ;)

I am so glad all of you have benefited from reading my article!

To be.honest and quite frank- a calorie is a calorie. They are ALL equal, no matter what others tell you. "Healthy" foods is also a very varied description of the foods you consumed and is subjectively different from person to person. Just pick yourself up tomorrow, the world isn't going to end friend!

No prob!

Personally if your into meats- Skinless chicken, Tuna, Pork, lean beef Any type of meat will do (except select roasts and cuts, just look at labels) Also - vegetables have small amounts of carbs (brocoli is the best IMO), and obviously try to stay away from starches and breads. I would give meal ideas but I just combine…

Haha sounds good :)

I wish. Would be nice wouldn't it? You need a calorie surplus to seriously build mass.

It's more of the fact that I need to clean up my "fat" eating habits and start adding in more healthy fats. Personally my doctor told me to go low Carb AND low fat, which I disagree with totally, but I tend to eat meat-based fat alot and this will cause problems down the road unfortunatel y Edit: so as far as I can see,…

Haha thanks everyone. Personally I try to have my ratios as 60% protein, 25 % fats, and the rest as carbs(15%). I have heard conflicting things about adding more fat on a low Carb diet so I was just wondering.
-
I've been hearing something similar to this. Thanks!

I'm making a Brown Rice casserole with bacon, chicken, and light mozerella cheese!

What a great post. Thanks for that motivation and your story. I am 6 foot 1, at about 303-305 atm. I usually do heavy chest/tris/shoulders on Mon, legs on Wed, and Accessory day on Fri. I still eat at a calorie deficit however.

Sorry. I clarified it above (1200-1500 Cal a day)
-
Thanks. I eat 1250-1500 Cal a day btw. High protein, moderate fat. Look at my diary for clarification .

Your body is in constant homeostasis and function. You need a calorie surplus for the day to gain fat. Your body can't make fat out of nothing surplus(calories wise).
-
Personally I do a customized Warrior Diet type IF with a 22/2 Ratio(2 hours of eating). I like it because I essentially eat like a king in my eating window, and I can still maintain a deficit Not recommended if you have low self control.

Thanks for your help everyone. The thing about this method being sustainable is this- I do not feel restricted at all, and I believe o have found the protocol that works best for me. I plan on eating low Carb the rest of my life, and I always plan to eat at a calorie deficit, so the assumption that I will "gain weight…

Considering I lose 2-3 lbs a week, I'm pretty sure I found what works for me Lolwut
-
The thing is- I eat at a calorie deficit when I IF. I don't pig out. I have a 1300-1600 calorie meal and THATS It, so it is also a VLCD. I doubt the weight is water weight because I almost went down a waist size and losses are becoming noticeable. I didn't mean to start an argument, but I'm just saying what I do that works

I'm here as well because I'm new too! I'll.add you

Thank you all very much. I've never seen such a kind and hospitable community in ages. And Wayne- I'm looking into Air force but I don't meet Max weight Req :(
-
Thank you very much. I see your doing good too Smart. Thanks as well Aventuria!

True. But I tend to do a lot of intense weight lifting and toning exercises, so hopefully that will counter-balance that unfortunate fact.
