Breastfeeding is a natural way for a new mummy to loose weight. Just start eating healthier foods, and include daily walks. As you regain the momentum, start more aggresive workout regimes :)

Me too!! I am pear shaped, most of the fat around the lower belly, hips, thighs and bum bum!! Now that I have lost some weight, it seems that my upper body is more toned and slim, compared to the lower body. Maybe I am paranoid, but I feel my bum looks bigger now, coz I am smaller on the top! Frustration :grumble:…

Do loads of glute lifts with exercise ball, lunges and squats. I am doing these extra just to target the bum :)

i agree! I consume the formula 1 and 3. Love the cappucino flavor. I sometimes have this for breakfast, either adding them to skim milk, fruit juice or blend it with a banana or peanut butter, or with 1/2 cup muesli :)

A simple medical checkup got me into this seriously! My BP is high, my percentage of body fat is 60+ .... the doc scared me, she said I most probably have a fatty liver, etc. I needed that kick in the butt, now I am so serious about this, and really want to get healthy ...

I had experienced that when I first started doing lunges and squats. I may have over done it, and I was sore for almost a whole week. Just listen to our body. If you are in pain, then just rest or do light exercises. Put running on hold for a while, and just do walks or brisk walks .... i guess the body takes time to get…

I like working out with an exercise ball - core strength training - really seeing the defined muscles!

Where/how do you measure the waist and hips? I am bottom heavy, it has lumps here and there, and it's tough to measure the same spot everytime! :grumble: Any tips??

My staple used to be rice, and now I have substituted it with whole wheat or whole grain breads. I also love the Jacob's high cal low salt crackers, which I sometimes eat with unsweetened peanut butter or with tuna. As long as your meet your required carb intake for the day, I don't see this as a problem for me. I don't…

Weightloss the healthy way would mean eating the right food in the right amounts, and exercise to build muscles and cut fat. No such thing as a short cut. You gotta work hard to lose weight :)

Hi :) Maintaining 1200 cal is the bare minimum a body can take - just enough to fuel it. Hence, you body goes into starvation and survival mode.…

Ladies, please count me in! I could always do with the extra support here in MFP. I have been a member since Sept 2009, and have lost 37lbs to date. I will need to loose another 100lbs. Looking forward to our interactions :)

Thanks! I really needed that boost of confidence and motivation! Kudos on your success :)
