Hey Brenda, You could use your own bodyweight as a resistance in strength training. Squats, Lunges, Push-ups are all using your body weight :wink:

You need to eat at least 1200 cals a day for your body to be fueled and to go about your day to day life. if you are exercising, then you will need to up your cal intake. The scale may not show changes, but you have lost inches!! that is a good sign, you are building muscles. The important thing to remember is to eat enough to fuel your body. Listen to your trainer, she is the best person to guide you step by step. Good luck!

I think you will need to purchase the book for the diet plan :) As for the workout, it's posted in detail and free! Make sure you measure yourselves before beginning this plan. We are suppose to loose inches! Just completed Day 1 ... 13 more to go :happy:

get a gym partner (skinny or not!) and workout together. This way, you don't feel lonely, and you could care less if others are looking at you. Besides, shame on them if they give you a funny look, just because you made the right step to take charge of your weight management and healthy living ... :flowerforyou:

I feel the same too ... but instead of having these insecurities, i channel it to exercise and eating healthy. Also, i dragged my hubby to work out with me as well ... and it's working. This morning, he gave me a hug, and his arms went completely around my waist, and then some! The expression on his face ... PRICELESS…

I agree! I have given up finding healthier options out there, so I bring my lunch from home ... everyday! I weigh myself a couple of times a day, and each time i see a different reading :grumble: But I only consider my weekly weigh-in on Saturday mornings, first thing in the morning, after peeing, before shower, and naked :wink:
