hi there, if you eat healthy most of the days, and exercise regularly, occasional desserts will not affect your weight loss program. Portion control is key! After 6 weeks for a change of lifestyle, i actually dared to go to KFC and order a snack meal. I had a chicken breast (removed the skin), mash potato (without the…

This is so true y'all ... I up my calorie intake every now and then, just to confuse the body, while continuing to do my cardio and strength training. My daily intake per MPF is 1240, but I sometimes go about 1300 to 1400, and I am still loosing it slowly and steadily. I noticed that when I don't eat my exercise cals, i…

You are blessed to have a trainer to guide you. Why don't you discuss your options? If you do more cardio sessions, do you need to make any adjustments to calorie intake, etc.

hmm, tough Q. I would usually log cardio and strength training/exercises into the log (specifically knowing that i am pushing my heart rate higher than usual). Don't know abt cycling to work though ...

Actually, the lesser sodium one consumes, the lesser water is retained in the body. I usually consume anything between 500-1500mg a day.

scrambled eggs or organic unsweetened soymilk are usually my savior! hahaha

I usually pre-pack my lunch the night before, and it also helps to have a weekly planner - Oprah does that ... she plans all her meals a month in advance! Altho she has a PA to do it, you us folks, i think a daily would suffice

Hie, I had started including raw veges into my diet since Sept 09 (when i started to change my lifestyle). Not only did it work wonders in my weight loss goal, but I had a surge or energy! I would have raw vege juice for dinner every alternate days (16oz is very filling!) But do take some precautionary measures. Recently I…

Kelloggs Special K 90 calorie bar works for me. I also hve nuts/seeds handy, besides the usual fruits such as green apples and pears. Just remember, to count your calories, and check that you don't over eat the cals by snacking one too many times in a day :) Good luck :flowerforyou:
-
Hahah, would be fun to count the calories though. A huge number would really be a turn off

hey, i just watched a show on the Asian Food Channel, and this guy was downing the exact huge gigantic burger .. i think it's called Sasquatch burger or something like that. LOL, i almost threw up, the meat patty is equivalent to 8 servings!

hey 20carrots, since you are a vegan, you could try having the 5 fruit/vege intake in a green juice. I try to have one every day, if not, every other day. Just juice a granny smith apple, celery, handful of spinach (this is a superfood!), some ginger, some lemon juice, and a carrot for some sweetness :) To give it an extra…

i know exactly how you feel. I don't get the support i need at home too ... temptations everywhere, and although my hubby is exercising with me, he doesn't count the calories fo food he eat, unlike me. MPF is awesome, reading the threads in the message boards tells you that YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and there are many of us out…

A couple of things to consider. have smaller meals but frequent meals in a day. try to plan out 5-6 meals a day (this will include your snacks). Also, vary your exercise regime. after 2 weeks of the same exercise (time, strength, etc), the body tends to adapt to it. so you gotta throw it off balance again. Drink lots and…
