Every two weeks is the best way to go, I think. I weigh in and measure on the 1st and 15th of every month, and I take pics on the 1st. Or I try to, anyway.

I make mine smaller things that I want but don't need. I love nail polish, so if I do well food/fitness wise for a week I'll treat myself to a new one. I think small rewards are a great idea!

This. 50 pounds in 2 months just isn't possible.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

You say you're skinny and muscular, and your weight/height combo is in the normal BMI range. So . . . what's the issue?
-
Drinking water definitely helps. For a really really long time I drank nothing but Dr. Pepper. When I first started trying to get healthier, I knew I wasn't going to be able to cut it out completely, so my first little step was to drink as much water as soda a day, then more water than soda, and so on. Now I'm at a point…

Welcome to the internet!

I weigh and log every two weeks.

This!

If I'm on a treadmill I usually watch TV on my phone or on the gym TV's. If I'm outside, nothing.
-
Buy a mini fridge for your room and keep your stuff in there. I did that back when I had roommates.
-
I'm a lot bigger than you and I run outside. (Not for awhile now because of cold weather). Either go when it's a little dark out, or find a trail or something where you're not going to be exposed to people driving by.

They are trivial. IMO you need to stop weighing yourself so often. Obsession is very rarely good or helpful.

You have clearly never done CPR. It is most definitely a work out. A very scary work out. That said, I don't really think there's a way to accurately log it unless you were wearing an HRM at the time and have a burn estimate, OP. Sorry.
-
Lol I stoppd reading after 3 days. Lots of things are doable for 3 days . . . let us know how you feel after 2 or 3 weeks of this crap.

I think people add the "for having kids" because our society basically tells women they need to be ashamed of what their bodies look like after giving birth. I think it make them think it's some kind of added compliment if they specify that.

"You can't eat that!" My office mate at work is currently trying to lose weight as well so we talk about it quite a bit. She lives on salad and diet soda and says she's "being bad" when she eats anything else. I'm just focusing on calories so I eat whatever as long as it fits that goal, but she criticizes my food choices…

I think this is just you trying to brag without sounding like a tool.
-
This is true, but after you lif weights, your body burns calories by needing to repair the muscles you worked out. So I think you'd be fine reducing cardio and upping weights.

1. 3-4 2. DVD’s/Web Videos 3. No 4. N/A 5. Not a pedometer but I do use a heart rate monitor 6. Weight Loss/Overall Health

I'm not a morning person, and I tried to get to a point where I could be for the purposes of working out but . . . nope. I've accepted that I just have to work out later in the evening before bed. Good luck though!

Lol me too haha. Fortunately there isn't a Popeye's where I live so my solution is kinda built into the problem.

I tip for good or decent service. If it's flat out terrible, then no. No one should expect to be rewarded for doing a crappy job. And frankly, I don't care how little you make an hour, if you're an a**hole to me, you're not getting a tip. Period, end of sentence. That being said, though, I think servers need to be paid at…

Fitnessblender.com. Seriuosly awesome.

Jumping jacks. Sounds totally lame but for some reason they just kill me!
-
I eat whatever I want as long as it's within my calories, so I never feel the need to take a day off. :)
-
Check out fitnessblender.com. They have a ton of different kinds of workouts that you can do at home with no equipment. It's fantastic.
-
Awesome job! You should be so proud of yourself!! Congratulations!
-
You should eat your exercise calories back, but from what I've heard MFP overestimates what you burn exercising. I didn't start eating mine back until I got a heart rate monitor and had a more accurate idea of what I'd burned.
-
This is why it's important to invest in an HRM! I only started eating back my calories once I got my monitor and felt more like I could trust what I was burning.
