Awesome job!! I can see a big difference, especially in the side photos. Well done!

I think the bigger question is why do you care?
-
I'm exactly the opposite, I do my cardio @ the gym and then lift weights at home. My gym membership is free, though.
-
MFP includes the calorie deficit in their calculation, so the # they gave you is what you could eat and lose weight.
-
. . . Nope.
-
If you're getting smaller you're making progress, who cares what the scale says?
-
Probably not . . . and you have to keep in mind your dress, and whether or not you'll be able to get it altered in time (because if you hit your goal weight the day before your wedding you'll be screwed as far as your dress fitting goes). Should have started thinking about this when you got engaged!

This entertained me.

Unfortunately.

If you hate running, don't run. I'm the same way, and every year I try to force myself to run and it makes me miserable. So this year, I set a goal to not try and force myself to be a runner, and I'm so much happier!

This is hands down the dumbest question I have ever seen on MFP.

How yogurt sounds when it's being vigorously stirred. (My office mate at works stirs her yogurt like she's trying to make sure it's dead before she eats it and the sound is disgusting).

Essential oils for weight loss = total BS. Don't waste your money. That's based on plain ol' logic, not personal experience.
-
Because the people who ask that want an easy fix. They don't want to hear that they have to log and track or whatever, they want to hear, "Just eat ______ every day and you'll lose weight."

See a therapist. For real, see a therapist.

Iced caramel swirl latte from Dunkin Donuts.

That's exactly what I did to start cutting down, I stopped drinking soda at work. It's actually gone really well! I've gotten down to drinking a can of Dr. Pepper everyday, which is a HUGE improvement for me! Good luck!

I buy the little packets of Justin's almond butter and eat it as a snack. :)

Frankly, I think any diet that has you completely cut out anything is BS. Unless you have an actual medical reason for it, eat what you normally eat but in moderation. Stick to the calorie goal MFP sets for you, focus on that for a week. Then add exercise slowly and gradually . . . start just with walking and work your way…

If you're a decent guy and we get along/have chemistry, then definitely.

I say good for those parents. I have a younger sister who was the same way, she just gained weight as soon as she was about 4 years old and never stopped. By junior high she was significantly overweight and hated going to school because she got picked on, and instead of taking her to a doctor or helping her get healthy, my…

Just ignore her. Easier said than done, I know, but seriously, it doesn't matter what she sees or doesn't see.

Go with the lower one. And maybe look into getting a heart rate monitor to wear while you work out, I love mine!
-
Amazing!!! Good for you!

This! I've had weeks where I've maintained or even gained a little weight, but lost inches. I'll take the tape measure going down over the scale going down ANY day.
-
I always take either Kind bars or Clif bars with me on hikes. Super portable, never go bad, and they're filling.

I have a Polar FT4 HRM and I really like it, I've never had any problems with it. But it is only for actual exercise, not something to be worn all day. If you want to track steps and that kind of stuff for a whole day, you'd be better off with a FitBit or something similar. That said, I don't trust the accuracy of a FibBit…

Fabulous progress! Good job.

I use flavored syrup for sweetening instead of sugar. I get the Torani brand (they have it a t most grocery stores), and it has no calories or sugar. I use that and a splash of creamer, and it's like 45 calories with no sugar.

:D That made me chuckle.
