My former fiance proposed with a really inexpensive silver claddagh ring. I loved it.

I think the first one is the best. The second one is good, but in the third one you look too skinny and not at all healthy.

If you've been working out for a month but only logging for a week (that's what I read this as, anyway) then you've probably been eating more than you think the past three weeks. If you're tracking honestly and accurately from here on out you'll be fine, I think.

Suck it up and discipline yourself. No one to blame but yourself for all the problems you just ranted about.

I can't stand onions . . . I've hated them ever since I was a little kid. I always thought I'd grow out of it and that I'd like onions as an adult but nope. If I feel like something absolutely needs onion flavor I'll use onion powder if possible.

Getting physically healthier will do wonders for your depression. I have a long history of depression/anxiety/bipolar disorder and even though I haven't lost a lot of weight since my heaviest, even those 13 pounds have made a big difference. My advice is to start slow. Just focus on your food intake. When you have as much…

www.fitnessblender.com I love it!

This is why I invested in a heart rate monitor. Great decision.

Amazeballs. Totes. Adorbs. Selfie. Yolo.

Are you using a heart rate monitor to track calories burned? Because MFP really, really overestimates exercise calories for a lot of exercises . . . so that could be making you look further under your goal than you are. And someone already said it, but I have also found that looking at weekly calories as opposed to daily…

The only person who can sabotage you is yourself. Unless your co-workers force the food down your throat or put a gun to your head until you eat it, the problem is your lack of willpower. I get so sick of these "everyone around me is trying to ruin my diet" posts. Seriously, put on your grown up panties and just say no…

Both pictures look good. Honestly, I think you're overthinking this . . . I'm fairly certain all the people who complimented your makeup were either giving you a genuine compliment or trying to sell product to you, not trying to make you into something you're not.

I literally cried I laughed so hard when I read this. It inspires us because you tell us that such beautiful things exist? I just . . . I can't even.

[/quote] Because they said a dr needs to administer the test for them to give out health results. The validity of said results was not in question. Like, results were showing increased risks for certain cancers/diseases and people were taking medical action based on them so the FDA said this test needs to be classified as…

The opening of Up, definitely. And the end of An Affair to Remember, when Cary Grant realizes what happened to Deborah Kerr and forgives her.

Your motivation shouldn't change based on what day of the week it is. You want to lose weight and get healthy . . . those aren't Monday--Friday goals. I used to be the same way until I realized that.

^^Yep.

OMG this. Let us know how easy it is when you hit your late 20's and have some adult responsibilitis like a full time job, a mortgage, and a car payment.

If you're losing inches you're not doing anything wrong.
-
So basically what you just said is: I know I can't spot reduce but how can I spot reduce? Looks like you answered your own question.

You will lose weight just from eating at a deficit. Exercise isn't strictly necessary. I personally enjoy working out because I'm seeing my body tone up, but if you truly can't, then don't.

Clif Bars are my go to breakfasts these days.

I think most people who gain it all back lost weight with a fad diet or a crash diet. I mean, if you only eat 500 calories a day sure you'll lose weight, but that's completely unsustainable. I think the best advice as far as keeping it off is making small changes that you can do for a long time, if that makes sense.
-
Not much of the damage you do to your body with gaining weight is irreversible. Just keep at it and you'll get healthier. That's basically a guarantee. And random fact: Three years after a smoker quits smoking, their risk of heart attack is the same as someone who has never smoked. So really . . . it's rarely too late to…

I completely don't understand the appeal of any show involving the Kardashians. Also, any of the "Real Housewives" shows. I just don't get it at all. As far as fiction . . . I think both Grey's Anatomy and Scandal are horrible shows. I don't know how people can actually sit through those and be entertained. The over the…

Me! I've known for a long, long time that I have no desire for kids. I'm perfectly content being a super cool Aunt to my nephews! I'm almost 30 and I feel like I'm at an age where most of my friends either have kids or are trying to have kids or are planning to have kids, and they get a little judgey about it. Drives me…

My company does the same thing!
-
I think your company's doing well already; my company offers the same benefits. We also have a nutritional wellness program for nutritional counseling; I work for a cardiology office so we have a nutritionist on staff, but I'm sure your company could find a nutritionist in your area and work out some kind of deal with them.

Quit telling people the advice that you asked for is wrong. Do you understand how obnoxious that is? Seriously, what do you want to hear? That it's a medical condition and if you see a doctor about it you'll be given medication that'll just melt the weight off so you never have to work out again?
