You have 6 hours and need to fit in 59 minutes of exercise. I don't understand your dilemma.

I have a Clif Bar every morning for breakfast. I can't eat anything too heavy very soon after waking up, and those bars are light and keep me full for a couple hours at least.

Most places do have nutrition facts listed online. In the past year or so I've looked up anywhere I plan to go beforehand, and there have only been a handful of places that I couldn't find the nutrition info. listed for online. Those places were almost all little locally owned mom and pop type places so it didn't surprise…

I don't necessarily feel like I've given anything up, but one healthy habit I've been working on is drinking more water and cutting down, not eliminating, soda.

I used to take yoga classes at my gym and it was usually a pretty even split of guys and girls. I don't think it's a big deal. Yoga will do great things for your body, I highly recommend it.

I honestly think it's just something that comes with time. If you're just starting out as long as you're breathing you're good . . . I used to hold my breath when I worked out. I'm a lot better now but I also breathe backwards lol. It will start to come more naturally the more you work out.

Right now I shoot for 4 or 5 days a week.

If you can, eat whatever you're craving in moderation so that it fits into your calorie allowance. Aside from that, I've found that drinking a lot of water helps me with cravings. Good luck!

I used to be the same way . . . I would wake up thirsty in the middle of the night and have a soda before I went back to bed. Now the thought of doing that makes me want to puke. I honestly think it's just a training thing . . . just gradually increase your intake and I'll bet you'll come to like it. I crave water more…

My short little midget legs! I have a 25 inch inseam. My roommate is the same height as me and she has a 30 inch inseam.

I like their black iced tea. Also the cool lime refresher. I don't actually get coffee at Starbucks, it's a little too bitter for me.

One pound a week is exactly what you should be losing. As for the MFP estimates, ignore them . . . there are too many variables for those to be super accurate. Have you taken your measurements to see how you're progressing there? If you haven't, you most definitely should . . . don't let the scale be the only measure of…

Unless you're actually getting bigger--ie your clothes aren't fitting as well or you can see weight gain--I would assume it's just temporary.

I walk 2 miles a day at work, so I feel like it's worth counting. But cleaning and food prep I don't count.

Try this website for at home workouts: http://www.fitnessblender.com/ And good luck on your journey!

My dog has this little toy that looks like a tire . . . it's pretty indestructable too, she's barely put a dent in it. They sell Kong fillers at the pet store that have different flavors. I've used Easy Cheese (the kind in the spray bottle) for mine.

^^Lol this!

I've never seen anyone put "pds" instead of "lbs" . . . that's freaking weird haha. Would bother me too!

Definitely.

The only way free refills or all you can eat buffets make you gain weight is if someone has a gun to your head and is forcing you to get refills or more buffet helpings. The issue is self control, period. And I have never had a server at a restaurant just refill my drink, they've always asked, and then I just say no.…

Don't eliminate those foods. Just eat them in moderation. I still eat fast food on a pretty regular basis but stay within my calorie limit and I'm doing fine.
-
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that.

I don't think of it as working towards skinny . . . I'm working towards healthy. And I think it'll be worth it. I've only lost 12 pounds since I was at my heaviest but I already have noticed a difference in my stamina and physical abilities. I can go up and down the three flights of stairs to my apartments and not get…

If you're working out that much, you're probably drinking a lot of water and retaining some of it, which could account for you not losing any weight. Are you taking your measurments too? That's a better indicator of progress IMO . . . I weighed in a few days ago after two weeks of doing really well and had gained 2 pounds…

My former fiance--out of absolutely nowhere--broke up with me a month and 5 days before our wedding. My wedding dress arrived in the mail as I was packing to move out. It was awesome.

1500 calories is not a binge.

Who cares? Ignore whatever **** they give you and do it anyway. You're an adult, act like one.

My co-workers all assume that I'm failing at this whole weight loss thing because some of what I eat isn't what they consider healthy diet food. I hit my calorie goal and I'm losing steadily so whatever.

This is both an unhealthy way to think about food and an unhealthy way to think of your body. Serioulsy, if you think being skinny is more importan than being healthy you're doing it wrong and I feel sorry for you.
