What's wrong with the running shorts? You mean they are too short? Buy longer ones :) I wear shorts that go to about the knee and a tank top. In spin I get so overheated I wore a t-shirt once and almost took it off to just the sports bra, it was that bad. I managed to keep it on, but never again. Then after spin comes…

Yeah, this is the way I was going, with the younger group going icky. I would hope as women age they would view it as natural and not gross and I hope no adult woman out there is going around saying that you can catch STDs at the pool.

About 230 lbs on the left, 130 lbs on the right (I'm now 122.5 lbs), July 3rd 2009 vs. 2014. Ignore the timestamp on the left, it's a picture of a picture.

230 lbs vs. 117.5 lbs (I'm now about 122 lbs, I got hit by a car and was unable to move for a bit but now getting back into it and I started binging when the accident happened and I gained 10 lbs so now I've lost almost all of it back). Around May of this year before being hit and about 4.5 lbs lighter.

Uhm... I'll go up 3-4 lbs. I retain a ton of water. Then it goes back down after. I can tell it's coming before it comes because all of a sudden I'll gain a few lbs. Works like a charm because I'm prepared. 0.5 lbs is nothing. Edit: Nevermind. It's 3:59a and I'm about to get off of work. Carry on :p

I'm 5'4" and 122.5 lbs and when I look in the mirror I think I look huge lol I was obese or overweight my whole life (230 lbs heaviest) until I started working out in 2009 when I was 31 years old and I have made peace that I will always have "fat days" and just use the numbers of the scale instead of what I look like to…

Also try your local gym. Mine sells them for $3 each. Even if you work out on your own, go inside the biggest chain gym your city has or give them a call. Worth a shot. Microwave the chocolate brownie one for 30 seconds .... You're welcome :D

And I really do hate bringing up age but I wonder what the age spread would be between those who view as gross and limiting and those who view it as something natural, normal, and not a reason to change your routine. And please talk to a doctor before telling people you can catch an STD at a pool. You can't. You cannot…

You are replying that I'm not reading your comments when it doesn't seem that you are reading mine. I am making a differentiation between something natural that happens to women and women themselves. IT is not gross. Some people than less than desirable grooming habits. There's a difference. So the reply to "should I swim…
-
No, IT is not gross. If you want to say that some PEOPLE are gross because of the habits they keep, then yes. But no one should be discouraged from swimming. Be corteous to others and do what needs to be done to leave the pool like you found it, but that applies to every day really. Be clean, safe, corteous, respectful,…

How exactly does it get out??? Just change right before, pick an appropriate device, and there is NO leaking out. None. It does not just leak out, it's physics. If you run towards a brick wall that's properly constructed by yourself you will NOT get through. Two solid matters cannot occupy the same space at the same time.…

You know people have blood inside of them.... ALL the time. What's the difference between ANY time of the month if it stays in? People should not be disgusted by their bodies.

I don't change any of my workouts. Running, swimming, biking, Zumba, BodyPump, TurboKick, boot camp... business as usual. And you know they sell stuff in the store that makes it so that's what's yours stays yours until you're ready to get rid of it ..... I swim all the time (I'm a triathlete). I've even been in that time…
-
Uh, yes it will...... if you do NOT change your diet AT ALL and you were not gaining, you can lose weight with just exercise :)

It's YOUR goodbye lunch, you should get to choose :\ One meal doesn't make or break a weight loss journey. It's just about consistency. Eat whatever, don't even log it, and move on. And you can ask them to mofidy menu items. Get a gilled chicken breast on a bun with side of fruit or vegetables. Hey, they have veggie…

Peanut butter and bread are very cheap and high in calories. Two slices of bread and 1 serving of PB will be about 350 calories.

Running most definitely made mine smaller :\ Granted, they were full of fat before, but still..... I went through a binging period where I gained 30 lbs (20 lbs lighter than that now) and I would look down and think to myself... they ARE right! I had trouble fitting on dresses that fit before... and the stomach or legs or…

My weight fluctuates even up to 7 lbs in a day. I know if calories out > calories in, I just have to keep chugging along. Eventually I see a lower number, i.e. 3500 deficit for 3 weeks and my weight will go up 1, down 2, up 5, down 3, etc., but after three weeks it will go down 3 from the original number.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Quest-Bar-/121400674380?pt=US_Dietary_Supplements_Nutrition&var=&hash=item1c440b484c $2.59 each + 99 cents shipping (I'm not the seller). Direct from Quest: http://www.questnutrition.com/protein-bars/ (single ones at the bottom) $2.39 per bar but they do charge $4.95 shipping for even one making one…

I still have 17 at home and I just placed another order of 72. I need help lol I love them for post-workout and snacks. Tons of protein and low in calories, delicious, and filling. I paid $130 shipped through eBay so that's $1.81 per bar. My gym charges $3 each. For me it's worth it. I find them absolutely fantastic. I…

I've been using it since I started in 2009. 230 lbs -> 112 lbs lowest -> 122.5 lbs now 5'4" For me it helps me to make sure I take in enough calcium and protein mostly. And helps me be aghast at the amount of calories stuff in restaurants, fast food places, and work has.

They're not magic, they're just candy :D I have 31 of them at home right now :D Microwave the brownie one for 30 seconds before eating.

From WebMD, what counts as water: "Coffee and tea also count in your tally. Many used to believe that they were dehydrating, but that myth has been debunked. The diuretic effect does not offset hydration." http://www.webmd.com/parenting/features/healthy-beverages

I add 1-2 scoops of protein powder to it after they're done and mix in (I personally use NOW Foods unflavored pea protein). Fills you up and adds 20g+ grams of protein for 120-150 extra calories.
-
I haven't tried them (although I eat Quest Bars all the time) but I HAVE tried another brand's protein chips and I had to stop buying them because sometimes I'd eat 1500 worth of calories of chips in a day and nothing else lol

She wasn't chastising you, just pointing out since you have a relatively low number of posts that you don't know how this board works. Everything you mentioned is par for the course on a daily basis :D (On ANY bulletin board, fo that matter).
